When Blood Bowl 3 was announced, many fans rejoiced to learn that the franchise was continuing on. To help whet the appetite until it launches, players can soon look forward to a beta for the turn-based game developed by Cyanide Studio. The team recently informed fans that a closed beta for Blood Bowl 3 will launch some time in early 2021.

Originally planned to release in 2020, Blood Bowl 3 was delayed to 2021. Although the wait is longer now, the beta that is set to release early next year may help appease eager fans. To gain access to the beta, players must pre-order Blood Bowl 3. Fans can treat the beta as a pre-season, so to speak, as they can enjoy it while waiting for the full release.

Blood Bowl 3 is set to add new content, including four new teams (Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility, Chaos Renegades, and the Old World Alliance), a new campaign mode, and Special Play Card that allow players to do things like backstab opponents before the game starts. Publisher Nacon has a lot planned for 2021, with Werewolf: The Apocalypse -Earthbound and Blood Bowl 3 on the slate for wide releases.

Blood Bowl 3 will release sometime in 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
