About the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Panel

What to Expect From the BLEACH Panel At Anime Expo 2025

Anime Expo 2025 is set to run for four days, from July 3 to July 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Centre. The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War panel will be only on July 4 at 4:45PM - 5:35PM local time, and as mentioned previously, there will be a special giveaway at the door for attendees. Other aspects you can expect from the panel include exclusive content and announcements about the final part of the anime, commentary by staff from Studio Pierrot who worked on the series, prizes and, of course, the secret announcement to cap it all. The special announcement could potentially be broadcast dates for the anime, which, as many may know, are yet to be revealed despite the consistent annual run of the previous three parts. This year's panel will have big shoes to fill on the end of the highly successful 2024 iteration, which saw Ichigo Kurosaki voice actor Masakazu Morita run an extended tour of the United States beyond the Anime Expo held in LA.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is the adaptation of the final arc of Tite Kubo's manga, adapted by the same studio that gave the controversial original anime series which premiered in October 2004. The Thousand-Year Blood War anime premiered in October 2022, over a decade since the final episode of the original BLEACH anime aired in March 2012, and quickly became a roaring success with its highly improved visual identity and impeccable direction courtesy of Tomohisa Taguchi, who took over the director role from legacy director Noriyuki Abe. With its faithfulness to the manga and tons of additional, never-before-seen content, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War has been the answer to fans' prayers. It was set for 52 episodes, with each cours running for 13 episodes, and each subsequent cours aired in October each year from 2022. However, it's unclear if we'll be getting the final cours this year, or if extra time will be needed for it to live up to the expectations of both production staff and fans.
