A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies player has discovered something hilarious regarding one of the new Liberty Falls map's Easter eggs, Aetherella. While players are still discovering Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's various modes and the myriad secrets that lie within them, a Zombies player has discovered that it is possible to exfil with the rigid supervillain statue, leading to quite a hilarious cinematic which is quickly amassing views.
Activision's cornerstone shooter franchise launched its sixth Black Ops entry and the 21st overall installment in the Call of Duty series on October 25. The game offers a bevy of new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies players to explore, including many new or tweaked tactical and lethal equipment items, perks, wonder weapons, and more. Although the engrossing main quest for Liberty Falls as well as the other Zombies map Terminus have already released, a player opting to exfil instead on the former stumbled upon the unexpected moment.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies clip comes from Reddit user Darkdoof3. The video starts with the player heading to the helicopter to exfil, which then shows the rigid statue rotating around to laser-eye some of the trailing zombies before the statue inhumanly lifting into the aircraft. Arguably the funniest part is the shot of the helicopter leaving the scene, with Aetherella's laser eye-beams constantly firing the entire way. Players will need to follow specific steps to become Aetherella if they want to try this themselves, which also earns Black Ops 6 players the World Domination achievement.
Not All Glitches are Good
While the Aetherella glitch on Liberty Falls is certainly a humorous one, others that players have experienced have left them feeling frustrated. A different gamer playing the same game mode has discovered a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 glitch is stopping zombies from spawning randomly. The player reportedly reached the 11th round in their game, also on Liberty Falls, only to be effectively soft-locked from continuing due to there being no zombies anywhere on the map. While it's unclear if the Aetherella glitch is intentional, the lack of zombies spawning in a rather early round almost certainly isn't.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies players certainly don't want to get stuck in the 11th round of their games, but may be curious to try the meme-worthy Aetherella moment for themselves. However, doing so is a bit easier said than done. Players looking for an early-game advantage, whether that be for accessing Aetherella, completing the main quest, or otherwise, getting ahold the free Ray Gun in Liberty Falls may just be the boon that they need.
