Season 4 of Black Ops 6 saw a major overhaul of content at launch for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, bringing with it the remaster of Fringe, a roster of fan-favorite weapons like the FFAR 1, and even some exciting modes. However, while Zombies may have drawn the short end of the stick in terms of new additions, it still received some unique updates.
Grief is, of course, the highlight of the Season 4 drops for Black Ops 6 Zombies, followed by the Abomination Challenge during Season 4 Reloaded. However, that's not all, as a classic challenge has also been turned into a limited-time mode available for the remainder of Season 4. Here is a guide to the Starting Room Challenge in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
All CODtoons Event Rewards in Black Ops 6 & Warzone
Players can get their hands on some pretty cool rewards for the CODtoons Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, including an animated camo. Here is how.
How Does the Starting Room LTM Work in Black Ops 6 Zombies?
The Starting Room Challenge is the latest limited-time mode to debut for Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 4. As the name suggests, the Starting Room Challenge takes players to all the Zombies maps currently available as of Season 4 Reloaded and locks them into the spawn area. Here, players will need to survive endless waves of the undead, all while earning a series of rewards by reaching specific rounds on each map.
On each map, players will be limited to the loadouts they bring in, along with whatever can be found in the starting room, to fend off the incoming waves. Exfil and the Exit Strategy GobbleGum are also disabled for the Starting Room Challenge. Special Rounds will still occur as normal, and Special and Elite Zombies tied to each map will spawn in the later rounds.
As for tips on surviving, be sure to make use of the Mystery Box (if available), Perk Machines, and Wall Buys to improve your loadout over time. Since Pack-a-Punch is not available in any of the maps’ starting rooms (with the only exception being the Tomb), it's best to aim for Epic or Legendary rarity weapons when possible. Players can also get Random Perk power-ups from eliminated Zombies to make up for the lack of Perk Machines.
For those looking to boost their game with GobbleGums, try the following:
- Wonderbar!: Guarantees that the next weapon obtained from the Mystery Box is a Wonder Weapon.
- Hidden Power: Upgrades your currently held weapon to Legendary rarity.
- On The House: Spawns a random Perk Power-Up.
- Crate Power: The next weapon taken from the Mystery Box will be Pack-a-Punched
- Wall Power: The next weapon purchased off a wall will be Pack-a-Punched
