What To Expect For Season 4 Of Black Ops 6 & Warzone
New Multiplayer Maps & Modes
Kickstarting the long line of content arriving with Season 4 is the debut of new Multiplayer maps, many of which will drop as soon as Season 4 goes live. Fringe from Black Ops 3 makes its return, along with new additions like Shutdown, Fugitive, Blitz, and Eclipse.
Here is a quick breakdown of the content release schedule for Black Ops 6 Season 4's new Multiplayer maps:
- Shutdown (6v6): Arriving at launch
- Fugitive (6v6): Arriving at launch
- Blitz (2v2 and 6v6): Arriving at launch
- Eclipse (2v2 and 6v6): Arriving mid-season
- Fringe (6v6): Arriving mid-season
Additional Multiplayer modes also enter the fray, including Team Elimination, the return of One in the Chamber, and the debut of Party Ops. Team Elimination launches with the season and takes the form of a Kill Confirmed-style mode, now featuring rounds and limited lives for added intensity. One in the Chamber and Party Ops, on the other hand, will arrive with the mid-season update.
Weapon & Loadout Additions
Arriving alongside a roster of fresh maps is the debut of additional weapons and loadout options, bringing a breath of fresh air for those looking for new meta choices. The FFAR 1 Assault Rifle and the LC10 Submachine Gun make their grand return, along with other exciting additions for the mid-season. All weapons will be available across all modes in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Here’s a quick breakdown of how players can expect to get their hands on each one:
- FFAR 1 (Launch): Unlocked at Battle Pass Page 6
- LC10 (Launch): Unlocked at Battle Pass Page 3
- Essex Model 07 (Mid-Season): Event Reward
- Olympia (Mid-Season): Event Reward
- Pickaxe (Mid-Season): Event Reward
Players can also look forward to even more loadout options in Season 4, including the return of the Grim Reaper Scorestreak, obtainable through an event. A variety of unique weapon attachments will also become available throughout the season, such as the G-Grip for Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns, the Stryder.22 3-Round Burst Mod, the SVD Full Auto Mod, and the TR2 CQB Auto Conversion.
Zombies Updates
While Zombies is not receiving another map for Season 4, fans of the popular co-op mode can expect a roster of updates, with one of the most anticipated being the return of Grief, which made its very first debut back in Black Ops 2. Grief takes players into a competitive frenzy, where two teams of four players will need to compete in PvE action, surviving until the last team standing. Grief will be supported on all Zombies maps, and will launch as soon as Season 4 makes its debut.
Additional Dark Ops Challenges also arrive at launch, giving players even more rewards to grind for. Those sticking around for the mid-season update can look forward to Limited-Time Modes (LTMs) such as Starting Room and Abomination Challenge.
That’s not all, as brand-new loadout additions tailored specifically for Zombies are also making their debut. The first is the major return of the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod, applying explosive damage to weapons to deal with those pesky Armored Zombies. In addition, three new GobbleGums—Explosive Flourish, Flavor Hex, and Rainburps—will be added to the loot pool, all available from launch.
CoD Warzone: How To Get Foresight On Verdansk
Foresight is back on Warzone's Verdansk, but not in the way that players might expect. Here is how to reveal future safe zones in Verdansk.
Warzone Content Overview
Multiplayer and Zombies may be a major focus in Season 4, but Warzone also receives a roster of unique content drops. The biggest reveal for Warzone is the arrival of a new point of interest on Verdansk: The Overlook. Players can find this large skyscraper towards Downtown, dropping in to secure valuable loot while evading enemy players.
Additional Limited-Time Modes (LTMs) also roll out throughout the course of Season 4, including a large-scale Team Deathmatch and Domination-style mode called Clash. Havoc Royale makes its debut with the mid-season update, while Resurgence finally receives its own Casual playlist with the arrival of Season 4 Reloaded. The new season of Ranked Play: Battle Royale also kicks off during the initial launch window of Season 4, offering players a fresh batch of rewards to earn.
Even more content will roll out for Season 4's mid-season update, including the arrival of Scorestreaks, Field Upgrades, and more, so be sure to stay in the loop when Season 4 Reloaded enters the fray in the coming months.
Limited-Time Events & Rewards
Wrapping up the final wave of content drops for Season 4 is the arrival of a fresh lineup of limited-time events, each debuting throughout the course of the season. These events will give players the opportunity to earn exclusive free rewards, including the Essex Model 07 Marksman Rifle and the Grim Reaper Scorestreak. Additional bonuses and cosmetics will also be available for BlackCell Pass owners.
Here’s a quick rundown of every event coming with Season 4:
- John Wick Ballerina: June 5 – June 12
- Rivals: June 12 – June 26
- King of the Dead: June 26 – July 3
- Master of Grief: July 10 – July 17
