For players who have accessed the T2 Teleportation Lab as part of Reckoning's main easter egg, they might be stuck on uncovering the next piece of the puzzle, that puzzle being a 4-digit password that is required to access one of the Project Janus computers near Franken-Klaus. If players are struggling with the puzzle and want to know the solution, along with all potential spawns of the items needed for the puzzle itself, then look below to find everything you need to proceed with this Black Ops 6 easter egg.
Where to Find All SAM Files (Documents) in Reckoning
Players are looking for 4 documents that can be found in the Reckoning map, and luckily, there's a set amount of locations in which these objects can spawn. There are a total of 7 spawns that the S.A.M. Files can be found in, so they've all been listed below:
|
SAM File Location |
|---|
|
Inside the T2 Teleportation Lab at the central terminal |
|
On a wooden table in the T1 Executive Suite, noted by having 3 chairs around it |
|
On a coffee table in the west corner of the T1 Executive Suite, the one with a toppled-over lamp and chair |
|
On the reception desk upstairs in the T1 Executive Suite |
|
On the left side of Richtofen's desk in the T1 Director's Office |
|
Underneath the TV monitor on a shelf at the south wall within the T1 Director's Office |
|
On a white table next to the blueprints of S.A.M. At the southwest wall in the T1 Director's Office |
How to Solve the SAM Files Puzzle in Reckoning
Once players have found the 4 SAM Files in their specific game, they will want to know what they are looking for. Players will want to look at the first two lines of the file. The first line specifies a number next to the item's name, and the second line specifies the date on which it was archived. For instance, if players have "1. Notso's Collar" then there is a "1" within the password, and the date "Archived: 7/15/1985" indicates what order in the sequence players will enter the number "1". In order to find your sequence, make a list of the artifact numbers and set them in date order from the earliest date to the latest date. For example, we had the following numbers, so in date order, they would look like this:
- 6. (6/28/1985)
- 1. (7/15/1985)
- 5. (10/12/1985)
- 2. (12/8/1985)
This means that the password in our game was 6152, which we can enter into the computer terminal in the T2 Teleportation Lab. So, just to clarify, the password number is the first line, and the order sequence is based on the date, with January being first and December being last. Here's the raw information on every SAM File so players can look at the images instead of reading the text:
