There is plenty to do in the fresh release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and of course, one of the more popular aspects is the zombies portion of the first-person shooter. The Easter egg hunt that followed its launch was something of renown, as it took days to discover how to complete the Blood of the Dead Easter egg.
Nevertheless, Black Ops 4 players proved their vigilance and completed this daunting task. Players will need to get the Spoon to complete the aforementioned Easter egg, and while at it, players may want to get the Golden Spork, as it is an intensely powerful melee weapon.
Unlocking the Spoon
First, players will need to get the Spectral Shield and Hell's Retriever, with steps to do each found here. Afterward, players need to proceed to the Warden's office and use the Spectral Shield's vision to locate (and take note of) 3 numbers on the office's pillars.
Then, players will need to put these numbers into the number pad located in the Citadel Tunnels. Doing this correctly drops the elevator, so players should proceed to the voltmeter at the Docks once that's done. Shield blast it to activate the crane, and once it has positioned itself, throw a Hell's Retriever at the skeleton.
This will cut off its arm and drop the Spoon. Players will be able to equip this item on the crate below the crane.
Unlocking the Golden Spork
This step requires players to have the Spoon, Hell's Retriever, and the Acidgat or Magmagat. Once gathered, players should navigate to the bathtub in the infirmary and activate it by placing the spoon into the tub.
Afterward, players should proceed to the Roof and kill zombies with either of the aforementioned weapons. Doing this will cause blood to drip into the tub, and once it is full, players can interact with it to drain the tub.
Once this is done, players will need to find the water tower near the Catwalk. Provided everything was done correctly, players will see the tower leaking blood. Throw the Hell's retriever at the red wheel on the base of the tower to collect the Golden Spork.
The Golden Spork will be great to help players fight off hordes in higher rounds and complete the Easter Egg. Nevertheless, there is plenty to do in Zombies, so some players may choose to complete the IX Easter Egg.
