Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong has many different armor sets that players can craft and use. While each individual piece of armor does have set bonuses to stats, each armor piece belongs to a set. Wearing multiple pieces of the same armor set will give you additional bonuses or skills on top of the stats and unique effects of the individual armor pieces.

As you progress to later chapters, higher quality armor can be crafted, requiring higher quality upgrade materials to make. One of these higher-tier upgrade materials are Cold Iron Leaves, which will start appearing in Chapter 3; here's how to get them.

Where To Get Cold Iron Leaves In Black Myth: Wukong

Cold Iron Leaves can most easily be found in Chapter 3, and upon getting there, two can be purchased in the Shrine Shop for 900 Will a piece. After those are obtained, players will need to loot chests and defeat larger enemies to find more. Chests can be hit or miss as they are often hidden and require a good bit of exploration, which can be challenging without a map.

The most reliable method for getting Cold Iron Leaves is by progressing through Chapter 3 and defeating all the powerful Yaoguai found along the main paths. Most of these stronger enemies that don't respawn will drop Cold Iron Leaves upon defeat, with players able to get about 12-14 after progressing through the third area of the chapter. These enemies are all found along the main trail forward, making them impossible to miss as long as you don't run past any enemies.

What Are Cold Iron Leaves Used For In Black Myth: Wukong

Cold Iron Leaves are an Epic crafting material used to craft Epic armor pieces that will be unlocked upon reaching Chapter 3. Later armor sets will require different materials, so it's best to use any earned Cold Iron Leaves to craft the armor sets that are unlocked in this chapter such as the:

Raging Sandstorm Armor Set
Thunderveins Armor Set

Cold Iron Leaves also aren't used to upgrade your weapons, as those will require their own unique items, leaving no downsides to use them right away, as enough will be found to craft both armor sets. It is best to wait to switch armor sets until you have enough pieces to get the armor set bonus, otherwise, you'll be at a disadvantage against the many difficult bosses of Chapter 3.
