Sun Wukong’s endeavor carries the visual presentation of Soulslike games combined with painstaking boss battles, making Black Myth: Wukong one of the best action RPGs for Dark Souls fans. Even the protagonist’s alternative title, the Destined One, echoes the Penitent One from Blasphemous and The Tarnished from Elden Ring.

Predominately, Wukong has piqued the interest of many players thanks to its difficulty, as streamers are keen to show off their skills and determination to the community.
The upcoming adventure RPG Phantom Blade Zero shares similarities with Black Myth: Wukong. S-Game, the title's developer, has made it clear that the game would not be a Soulslike despite early rumors. Regardless, fans of Wukong are looking forward to more painful and difficult combat encounters in Phantom Blade Zero, eager to soak up its Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry-style action. A release date for the game has not yet been announced.
