In Black Myth: Wukong, players will have to take down a plethora of different enemies. While it does seem simple, it is worth noting that there are more than 80 bosses in the game. Some of them are linked to the story and are unavoidable, while others, such as the Elder Jinchi, can be missed unless players go searching for them.
To combat these foes, Black Myth: Wukong players must make sure that their equipment is up to date. So, they will need to craft new armor and weapons to ensure that they can beat their enemies. Each weapon requires different resources, one of which is the Refined Iron Sand.

Learn to conquer Captain Wise-Voice, the Yaoguai King in the Pagoda Realm.
How To Get Refined Iron Sand In Black Myth: Wukong
Refined Iron Sand is needed to craft weapons for the Destined One, but it won't be available until players reach Chapter 3. There are different means of obtaining Refined Iron Sand in Black Myth: Wukong. These are:
- Buying from the store
- A reward for opening chests
- Beating strong enemies
Buying the Refined Iron Sand from a store is the easiest way, but sadly, there is limited stock. So, players can't just buy them all the time. They will have to look at other ways to get this resource.
Upon starting Chapter 3, players will finally have a better way of farming Refined Iron Sand. They will have to explore every nook and cranny to locate chests, as there is a good chance they might contain the Refined Iron Sand. Obviously, there is no surefire method of knowing what's inside the chest, so try opening as many as possible.
Players can also get Refined Iron Sand as a reward for beating strong mobs or bosses. Once again, the odds are random, so there is no telling which mob will drop the item (except for chiefs, kings, and queens).
How To Use Refined Iron Sand In Black Myth: Wukong
It Is Required To Create New Weapons
Refined Iron Sand is used to upgrade weapons and craft news. Doing this will increase its damage and allow players to beat enemies quickly. In order to upgrade the staff to
Kang-Jin Staff, you will need four Refined Iron Sand. This particular weapon has an attack of 70, and it also increases the critical hit chance by 6%. Overall, it is a solid choice, especially if you are struggling to deal with a particular enemy in Black Myth: Wukong. Aside from Kang-Jin Staff, players will need Refined Iron Sand for the
Spikeshaft Staff and
Rat Sage Staff.
Upgrades are usually unlocked after beating a main boss. If the option doesn't immediately appear for you, progress through the story and visit the Keeper's Shrine again to check if you are able to craft a new weapon.
