Players will fight a large ox at the beginning of Black Myth: Wukong's fifth chapter, and they can speak with him to initiate a side quest. This side quest centers around the "Five Element Carts," and fans who complete it will gain access to Bishui Cave. For those players who are interested in visiting that secret area, this complete walkthrough of Black Myth: Wukong's Five Element Carts quest is here to help.
Players will only need to interact with four carts as they work to reach Bishui Cave. Indeed, while there is a fifth cart in the Flaming Mountains, it is connected to Horse Guai's quest, and action RPG fans should make sure that they have made sufficient progress on that quest before pulling the fifth cart's string.
Black Myth: Wukong - All Purple Talismans Locations
The Destined One will have a hard time locating some of the purple talismans as they are hidden in Black Myth: Wukong.

Beat & Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (Woods of Ember: Ashen Pass I)
After activating the Ashen Pass I Keeper's Shrine, the first checkpoint in Chapter 5, players should follow the path to the left of the shrine. This path will lead action game fans to the Pale-Axe Stalwart, and they should defeat him and then talk to him until they have exhausted all of his dialogue.
Beat Brown-Iron Cart (Woods of Ember: Ashen Pass I), Gray-Bronze Cart (Woods of Ember: Height of Ember) & Crimson-Silver Cart (Furnace Valley: The Emerald Hall)
Players should now progress along Chapter 5's critical path, and defeat the Brown-Iron Cart, Gray-Bronze Cart, and Crimson-Silver Cart as they encounter them. While these three Yaoguai Chiefs are unmissable, here are details about their positions for the sake of completeness:
- Brown-Iron Cart: Players will encounter this cart after defeating the Pale-Axe Stalwart and climbing the stairs that lead out of his arena.
- Gray-Bronze Cart: Players will descend into a cave after activating the Height of Ember Keeper's Shrine in the Woods of Ember, and they will run into this cart after emerging from it.
- Crimson-Silver Cart: Players will find this cart after defeating the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin-Yang Fish and following the path that leads out of their arena.
Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (Woods of Ember: Camp of Seasons)
Players should now make their way back to the Camp of Seasons Keeper's Shrine in the Woods of Ember. Fans of games inspired by Chinese mythology should then disengage from the Keeper's Shrine, turn right, follow the path down to the Pale-Axe Stalwart, and once again exhaust all his dialogue.
Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (Furnace Valley: The Emerald Hall)
Black Myth: Wukong players should now return to the arena in which they fought the Crimson-Silver Cart. As previously noted, this arena is along the critical path beyond the Emerald Hall Keeper's Shrine in Furnace Valley, and the Pale-Axe Stalwart should now be there. Fans should talk to that character until they have exhausted his unique dialogue.
Beat Rusty-Gold Cart (Field of Fire: Cooling Slope)
Players should now continue along the critical path until they reach the Fallen Furnace Crater Keeper's Shrine in the Field of Fire. For full clarity, this is the Keeper's Shrine that is just beyond the sequence with the large metal ball, and fans of games with RPG elements should follow these steps after activating it:
- Backtrack down the slope that was used to reach the Fallen Furnace Crater Keeper's Shrine.
- Keep an eye on the left side of the slope. The metal ball has opened a path that can be used to reach the Flint Vanguard.
- Exit the Flint Vanguard's arena via the back-right corner, and follow the path to reach an arena where the Mother of Flamlings can be summoned.
- Exit the Mother of Flamlings' arena via the back-right corner, and follow the path to reach the Cooling Slope Keeper's Shrine.
- Continue past the Cooling Slope Keeper's Shrine, and defeat the Rusty-Gold Cart when it appears.
Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (Field of Fire: Cooling Slope)
The Pale-Axe Stalwart can now be found against the rocks in the Rusty-Gold Cart's arena, and speaking with him will initiate a cinematic. As soon as that cinematic comes to an end, players can interact with the nearby icy wall to access a path that leads to Bishui Cave, a secret area in Black Myth: Wukong.
