Black Clover will soon drop two new chapters this week, and fans are eager to read them as soon as possible. After all, it's been months since the last chapter was released, and many have yet to get used to the new schedule of the series.
Black Clover is heading towards its final climax, but it seems that the story will have many more interesting chapters before it finally ends. However, there is no word yet on when the final chapter will be released.
Black Clover: How Noelle Found Her Resolve in Asta
Noelle is the resident tsundere in denial of her feelings for Asta. However, Asta is also the person that inspires her to do her best.
Black Clover Chapter 379 Preview Image
Ahead of the release of the new chapters, a first image of Chapter 379 was unveiled. Apparently, it is the cover image of the chapter, which is titled "Urarakana Hi no Shita", something like "On A Bright Day".
The picture shows many characters, but what caught the attention of many fans was that Mimosa is next to Asta, and Noelle is missing from the scene. While this may just be an illustrative promotional picture with no deeper meaning, something like this can easily trigger "shipping wars".
Mimosa Vermililon is one of the possible pairings for Asta, and it was confirmed in the story that she has some sort of crush on him. But while many "Mimosta" supporters are happy, others are wondering why Noelle is not in this scene and where could she be — after all, the "Astelle" shipping is probably the biggest chunk of the fanbase.
All the royals make fun of hard work. They say it's for those who were born without power. It isn't something royals do. But... But you can work hard... And I really respect you for it!!
— Mimosa Vermillion
To be honest, regardless of favorite couples, it's good to see Mimosa once again, and it would be great if she appeared in any of the upcoming chapters, since it's been a while since she made her last appearance in the manga.
When Will Black Clover New Chapters Be Released?
Chapters 379 and 380 will on May 1, 2025, at 11:00 MA (ET) (12:00 AM JST on May 2), when the next issue of JUMP GIGA will be out. At the end of 2023, the series moved from Shonen Jump to JUMP GIGA and now new chapters are out on a quarterly basis — at least, each issue of the magazine usually drops two chapters, and not just one.
Early spoilers suggest that these chapters will make revelations about the origins of the Grimoires and how exactly they work. While Mimosa caught the attention of fans, it seems that the chapters will focus more on Lucius and his abilities.
Black Clover chapters are released on MANGA Plus at the same time as they are out in Japan.
Finally, anime fans will likely have to wait a bit longer for news on the return of the series, which has been on hiatus since 2021.
