15 Kahono
Kahono took the anime world by storm with her incredible voice and her very relatable dream of wanting to be a pop idol. Her positive and charming demeanor uplifts those around her, maintaining an optimistic outlook even in the face of despair.
Her exceptional musical talent, combined with her Song Magic, allows her to put on a show when she fights. Though she only appears for a few episodes, it was enough for her to win over the fans and cement her spot as one of the best girls.
14 Sally
Sally is a rogue mage and a former Eye of the Midnight Sun member. She is a scientist, and as a result, she is an inquisitive person who shows interest in people with unique magic, such as Vanessa’s Thread Magic and Asta’s Anti Magic.
She is an unhinged person who loves to perform experiments and collect samples - only joining the Eye of the Midnight Sun because they allow her more freedom to perform experiments than the Magic Knights. She later joins the Clover Kingdom’s defense in exchange for allowing her to experiment on Asta. She is also quite risque, shown to be sporting a crop top and shorts under her robe.
13 Fana
Hailing from the Diamond Kingdom, Fana served as the host body for the elf Fana, one of the Eye of the Midnight Sun’s Third Eye. She is a kind and selfless woman, especially showing compassion toward those who have experienced pain similar to hers.
She once possessed the Salamander, the spirit of fire, which assists her in battle, and is also one of the few people known to use two elements in battle: fire and crystal magic. It is also quite intriguing to see how the fate of her and her childhood friend turned love interest, Mars, will play out.
12 Grey
The shy Grey is a fan favorite due to her fantastic personality. She is incredibly kind-hearted, always choosing to see the good in people. She first debuted in her first transformation and took the appearance of a big dark male figure, and despite later showing her actual form, her real name is still unknown.
Despite coming from a dysfunctional family with a stepmother and stepsisters who hate her, she is able to overcome the trauma and trust the other Black Bull members who love her as one of their own.
11 Sylph
Sylph, otherwise called Bell, is the mighty spirit of wind who serves Yuno Grinberryall. She appears as a small fairy with wings and pointy ears. Whenever Yuno needs help, she is always there to help with her vast mana reserves and mastery over Wind Magic.
She is in love with Yuno and is willing to go to great lengths to protect him, even going as far as storing mana for three days so she can help Yuno defeat Zenon Zogratis. Her character design is reminiscent of the fairy named Tinker Bell, who helps Peter Pan in the famous story.
10 Sister Lily
The subject of Asta’s affections, Sister Lily, is one of the most well-written characters. She has also become a fan favorite among the Black Clover fandom due to her caring personality. She served as a nun and the caretaker of the orphanage in Hage, where Asta and Yuno grew up. Sister Lily is also hugely responsible for how Asta and Yuno turn out, carefully guiding them toward always doing the right thing.
Despite the fact she does not appear as much as other characters on this list, her contribution to Asta’s development makes her one of the more important characters on the show. Although her character arc has taken a more sinister turn, she remains one of the best female characters Black Clover fans love to see.
9 Charlotte Roselei
Charlotte is the captain of the Magic Knight squad—The Blue Rose. She is also a noblewoman born to House Roselei, and is characterized by a quiet, sober, and indifferent personality, not caring much for others outside her Magic Knight squad. She also seems to dislike most men, except Yami Sukehiro, whom she secretly loves.
In addition, Charlotte is a character who is always willing to improve her skills. For instance, she traveled to the Heart Kingdom to train with the Spirit Guardians to learn Mana Method from Potrof and Sarado. She even continues to practice her magic techniques after returning to the Clover Kingdom while still carrying out her duties as a captain.
8 Dorothy Unsworth

Dorothy was initially introduced to fans of Black Clover as a gag character always caught sleeping. However, she takes on a carefree, playful, and energetic personality. Dorothy quickly became an essential character in the series after the Elf-Reincarnation arc. During the Arc, she was possessed by the elf Reeve, which significantly boosted Dorothy's magical ability.
Even before Reeve possessed her, Dorothy was a formidable mage who could use her magical ability known as Glamour Word to capture her opponents and read their thoughts. Her beautiful character design and development throughout the series have made her popular among Black Clover fans.
7 Vanica Zogratis
As soon as she was introduced in the Black Clover manga, Vanica Zogratis won over the hearts of many fans. She is one of the strongest devil hosts because she is a member of the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom. In addition, due to her cynical demeanor, she is among the show's most intriguing characters.
