How to Complete the Tortured Artist Challenge in Bitlife

Like other challenges in Bitlife, the Tortured Artist Challenge also has five parts:

Be born a female in Illinois
Become a painter
Insult 5+ different people
Recover from an alcohol addiction
Troll 5+ people on social media after they’ve trolled you.

How to Be Born a Female in Illinois in Bitlife

To complete the first part of the challenge, you will have to be a female born in Illinois. You can do this easily by making a new character, choosing female as the gender, and then selecting the USA as your country. Next, you can choose any city in Illinois state, like Chicago, to begin your journey.

How to Become a Painter in Bitlife

To become a painter in Bitlife, you'll first need to age your character until they reach 18. During their time in school, make sure their Smarts stat is high, and ensure they go to the library and participate in any painting-related activities if you can. Also, get your character on social media, as this will be helpful for the later part of this challenge.

Once you’re old enough, you have two options. You can either attend university, get a degree, and pursue a career as a painter, or you can look for painting jobs right away once you finish school.

How to Insult 5+ Different People

In Bitlife, insulting people is quite straightforward. You can insult your siblings, boss, coworkers, and even friends if your character has any. To fulfill this part of the challenge, go to ‘Relationships’, choose someone you want to insult, and then click the ‘insult’ option.

How to Recover From an Alcohol Addiction

Needless to say, to recover from an alcohol addiction, you will first have to develop the addiction itself. You can form this bad habit in the game by drinking a lot. Visit a lot of bars and parties, and don’t turn down alcohol whenever it’s offered to you.

Now that your character has developed the addiction, go to the ‘Activities’ bar and choose Rehab.

To complete this step, having a big presence on social media would be helpful. It's recommended to start building your presence early. Once you're famous and have a public account, expect some trolling. You can complete this part of the challenge by reciprocating the ridicules from five different people
