There have been many listed sizes for the various characters across different mediums. However, many of them are also speculative, based on the confirmed heights of other characters or noteworthy objects. One size in particular is undeniably massive compared to the rest.

6 Transformers (Ps2)

Starscream Stands at 15 Feet and 1 Inch

  • Primary Vehicle Form: Fighter Jet

This version of Starscream bears a striking resemblance to the version seen in the Armada series. While transformed, he appears to resemble a block-like jet with a dominantly red color scheme. This form is by far the bulkiest of Starscream's many vehicle forms. However, that does add to its charm and makes it very nostalgic for a lot of Transformers fans.

These transformations are often referred to as a Transformer’s vehicle form, or their alt form. Starscream’s usual depiction is always that of a jet or fighter jet. This version of the character is somewhat more complex, showing varying degrees of loyalty and honor, despite them waning.

This version has less white as seen in many of Starscream’s other designs.

5 2005 IDW continuity

Starscream Stands at 28 Feet

  • Primary Vehicle Form: Fighter Jet (inspired by an F-22 Raptor)

Comic books hit differently than other forms of media. This is because they need to be able to be entertaining while only having static images and text to engage their readers. Starscream in the IDW Continuity is still just as manipulative and cunning as other incarnations, but he is not treacherous from the get-go.

The Primes are considered the original Transformers and carry on in modern times as their true leader.

Starscream is a very nuanced character in this iteration, especially in the time he serves as the ruler of Cybertron. His design in these comics is reminiscent of his G1 incarnation.

This serves as one of the most complex and compelling iterations of the character thanks to plenty of character development. This also shows just how good of a leader Starscream can actually be.

4 Transformers One

Starscream Stands Between 25 and 30 Feet (Unconfirmed)

  • Primary Vehicle Form: Futuristic Fighter Jet

Transformers One gave a lot of characters a size bump, Starscream included. While a definite height is not stated, he can be measured up to the sizes of other characters, making him taller in this incarnation than many others with officially listed sizes. This incarnation gives the character a more idealistic outlook.

This is perfect for Starscream, as it shows he is ready to p ledge himself to Megatron and become the villainous backstabber fans know he will become. His colors pop, and he has a sleek and stylish design that makes him appear far more aerodynamic than other iterations. This is fitting with his primary transformation being that of a jet and can make him some fans' favorite design of the character.

3 Transformers (Live-action films)

Starscream Stands at 31 Feet

  • Primary Vehicle Form: Fighter Jet (inspired by an F-22 Raptor)

Starscream is shown to be far more loyal to Megatron than other incarnations in the live-action films. He is downplayed in these films as being a sniveling servant who is eager to serve his master. However, he still puts his own well-being first, and his personality is the cold and vicious usurper he is known to be.

Though there are countless iterations of the robots in disguise, these are arguably the best heroes in the Transformers universe.

His esthetics for these films are much more monstrous and frightening and are shown to have animalistic and insect-like inspiration. While in his alt form, he adopts a military esthetic to complement the focus on the Decepticons being a powerful threat.

2 Boston Globe trading cards

Starscream Stands at 31 Feet

Boston Globe Transformers Tallest Versions of Starscream
  • Primary Vehicle Form: Fighter Jet

The Boston Globe cards aimed to capitalize on the success of the live-action films. Each of which comes with some stats for each character, along with some text. This card touches lightly on the personality of Starscream, as extremely ruthless and makes him out to be nothing more than Megatron's lackey.

This drops a lot of the nuance and potential the character is known to harbor. This card states the exact height of the character as 31 feet and mentions other bits of information, such as using a plasma-charged rotor cannon as his primary weapon. However, his insidious nature will always be his greatest weapon and what makes him one of the most dangerous of Decepticons.

1 Transformers: Cybertron

Unknown… But Undeniably Massive

  • Primary Vehicle Form: Futuristic Fighter Jet

Readers will find Galaxy Force being thrown around, and this is just another name for what English speakers will know as Transformers: Cybertron. In this series, Starscream achieves a form known as Super Starscream, also known as Mega Starscream in some territories. There are many powerful forms for Megatron, but this may be the strongest form for Starscream.

There are many massive characters in the Transformers franchise. While Super Starscream does not break into that list, it is still the largest form he has ever had and even sees him take on Primus in a giant robot battle.
