There's a decent selection of weapons to choose from in Deadzone: Rogue, and whether you prefer a tactical approach to combat or a guns-blazing one, there's bound to be a firearm out there that suits your playstyle.
The weapons themselves aren't exactly special unlike in some other FPS games, but when combined with a proper build, they can tear apart every monster and machine on the station with ease. If you're looking for the best guns in the game, here's a short guide that briefly goes over each weapon category available and the best weapon you can use in each of them.

Best Guns in Deadzone: Rogue
The good thing about the weapons in Deadzone: Rogue is that all of them are viable. Sure, some are much better than others, but even if you aren't lucky enough to get them, you can still finish your run using whatever the game throws your way. With that said, here are the best weapons in the game according to category:
Best Assault Rifle - Vanguard
Out of all the full-auto and burst-fire rifles, the Vanguard is arguably the best pick. Its damage is solid, its reload speed is decent, but what makes it stand out is its rate of fire. The Vanguard is the fastest-firing assault rifle in the arsenal, making it great for elemental and crit builds. If you'd rather have a rifle that packs a stronger, then either the Pulsar or the Warrior should do.
Best SMG - Arcblade
The Arcblade is a compact SMG in the primary weapon slot that's basically a better Vanguard. It has an even faster fire rate and reload speed, and with the right perks and items, it becomes one of the best weapons to use for elemental builds. If you want an SMG for your secondary slot, then go with the Blitz.
Best Shotgun - Rampage
Shotguns can be a bit hard to use in Deadzone: Rogue, but if you want to use one as your main weapon, then the fully-automatic Rampage is a good choice. What's good about this is that it counts as a secondary weapon, which means you can bring something big like a minigun or a sniper rifle into your primary slot without losing much firepower.
Best LMG - Tempest
LMGs are generally slower than SMGs and ARs, but they hit much harder and have significantly larger magazines. Out of all the LMGs in the game so far, the Tempest has the largest magazine size, and while its rate of fire is a bit sluggish, but thanks to that, the Tempest's recoil is also very easy to control.
Best Sniper Rifle - Ion Driver
If you're looking for something that hits hard, then the Ion Driver should be on your radar. It's an energy sniper rifle that charges up while scoped. This thing can wallop even the biggest of enemies in the game, but since it fires so slowly, you'll want a reliable sidearm to fall back to when things get dicey.
Best Minigun - Hellstorm
The Hellstorm minigun is the best in its class simply due to how well-rounded it is. Its fire rate is exactly what you'd expect from a weapon like this, and when you're fully kitted out with perks and other gear, the Hellstorm becomes much more terrifying. When you're using this weapon, make sure to stack those reload, ammo, and fire rate perks.
Best Pistol - Snapdragon
The Snapdragon is a machine pistol for the secondary slot with an extremely high fire rate and a snappy reload. It's great for taking out single targets, but once you get perks/items that increase your mag size or grant you infinite ammo, then this thing becomes a pocket minigun.
