While you can get by with the basic crafting blueprints in Grounded 2, you'll need to unlock new crafting recipes with Raw Science in order to survive the more dangerous parts of the park. There are multiple ways to obtain Raw Science in Grounded 2, but you'll need to search every nook and cranny of the park to find enough to unlock the most expensive upgrades.
You'll start your Grounded 2 adventure with plenty of Raw Science as the game takes you through the initial tutorials, but your research will quickly come to a stop once you unlock the first few upgrades. The other Raw Science upgrades are optional — unlocking new cooking recipes and base building parts — but they'll make your time in the park much easier. Here are the best ways to get Raw Science in Grounded 2.

How to Get Raw Science in Grounded 2
The primary way to obtain Raw Science in Grounded 2 is to analyze newly-discovered resources. Any time you discover a new item, bring it to the analyzer at a Ranger Outpost to scan it and unlock new crafting recipes. You'll also get a chunk of Raw Science as a reward. You can only analyze materials once, though, so this source of Raw Science will run out later in the game.
Raw Science can also be found throughout the park in the form of floating pink orbs. They emit a faint buzzing sound when you get close to them, and their pink glow is easy to spot once the sun goes down. Each pink bubble will give you a few hundred Raw Science, with harder-to-find bubbles rewarding even more.
Finally, you can get Raw Science by completing Ranger Challenges. These are optional side quests that require you to craft certain items or defeat specific bugs. You can have three active Ranger Challenges at a time, but you can't choose which ones to work on. They have a set order, so you can't skip any of them. They're super easy, however, and you'll get a sizable chunk of Raw Science for each one of them.
More ways to get Raw Science will be added to Grounded 2 as the game receives more updates and the park expands with new locations, so those expensive upgrades will get easier to unlock in due time. In the meantime, you can keep exploring the early areas of the park and farming bosses like the Cockroach Queen to prepare for the road ahead.
