Players decisions also matter, as they help shape their space empire as they build it throughout the game. And if that wasn't enough, there's also outer space combat involved, so players can explore the depths of the universe while dodging enemy projectiles. • Two players control squads in battle in co-op mode.
  • Players can take on the role of either a Space Marine captain, an Eldar Farseer, or an Ork Mekboy.

In a dystopian version of the future, humanity's power has reached every corner of the galaxy, forming a massive empire, known as the Imperium of Man. This game can be played both by a single player, or in co-op mode for additional fun. The single player campaign takes place on the planet Tartarus, which is under siege by the Ork faction invaders.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 does not only offer players lots of fun, but also sets the stage for the events that happen in Dawn of War 2: Retribution. The co-op mode doesn't change much from the single player mode, except for the fact that two players control the squads in battle, instead of just one. Given that the campaign is already fun and well-developed, it makes sense that no big changes were made to alter the multiplayer approaches.
