Rimworld is a sci-fi colony simulation game that tasks players with building and nurturing a colony of settlers in a barren landscape. The game features an 'AI Storyteller' with varying settings that determine how each save will play out. There is massive variation in random events, terrain and spawns, settler statistics, and just about everything else.

This variation when starting up a new world, a variation that starts with Storyteller selection and remains a core element of the game, is what makes Rimworld so replayable. This, coupled with the DLCs and endless modding potential, truly ensures that no two saves in Rimworld are the same and that players can sink hundreds of hours into the game without seeing all it has to offer.

Skyrim is a title that needs no introduction. The latest mainline Elder Scrolls title, Skyrim, built upon aspects of its predecessors in order to become one of the most famous games of all time. Skyrim boasts a vast open world, with many side quests and exploration opportunities that offer countless hours of gameplay.

One major element that allows Skyrim to remain at the forefront of gaming in the modern day is the mod support. With the right modlist, players can turn an already vast RPG into a more mechanically deep and content-rich experience. Modlists can range from hardcore survival experiences to sprawling power fantasies and everywhere in between. Skyrim has remained infinitely replayable, and with its consistently strong modding scene, its replayability will likely only increase with time.
