The Carrack 300 is an interesting weapon. It has a modern bullpup design, with a semi-auto fire mode. On paper, this should make the Carrack 300 a really useful, handy weapon. Unfortunately, it has problems with the one thing that all sniper rifles absolutely must do; hitting the target. With its mediocre range and relatively poor accuracy for a sniper rifle, it is overshadowed by other options.
Handling is superb with the Carrack 300, as is mobility. Recoil control is acceptable but not great. And with its 6-round magazine, this semi-auto sniper rifle is going to need to be reloaded regularly. A problem, as it only has 12 rounds in reserve.

It doesn’t do any one thing perfectly, but it is greater than the sum of its parts. Although with a 5-round magazine and just 10 in reserve, players need to place their shots well.
Range, damage, and accuracy are all above average but not as good as one or two other sniper rifles in the game. Recoil, handling, and mobility are all acceptable. On paper, the SP-X 80 doesn’t look special, but its stats combined make it more than capable.
