Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 takes place in a fantasy world inspired by 19th-century France, on the edge of destruction, with characters trying to rid the world of an evil entity known as The Paintress. For example, Lune is the elemental mage of the group who can cast magic like fire and ice spells, while Sciel mainly focuses on dark-based magic.
