Since its release in 2017, the Nintendo Switch has become home to many party titles some from Nintendo themselves with others being created by varying developers. With many fun activities in store but only so much time to play them, these are by far the best party games players and their friends should enjoy on the Nintendo Switch.

Even with the Nintendo Switch 2 rumored to be just around the corner, there are plenty of Nintendo Switch party games for players to enjoy on the seven-year-old console that are sure to not only entertain the player while they're alone but also a great assortment of party games to enjoy with other players too like they should be. Since Super Mario Party Jamboree has been released recently, these are by far the best party games on the Nintendo Switch that are sure to keep the party going.

16 1-2-Switch

A Game That Relies Only On The Joy-Cons

While the majority of party titles on the Nintendo Switch encourage the whole group to look at the screen or use separate devices to play together, 1-2-Switch is a game that relies entirely on the Joy-Con controllers that come with the console.

Although the games within 1-2-Switch can only be completed with two players at a time, the party genre title does have a team mode where players work together to earn the most points and become victorious as they each compete against the other team in an assortment of mini-games that rely on the player's patience and skill if they hope to win.

Sometimes the most fun a group of friends can have can be the chance to brawl with each other. This can be achieved through Gang Beasts. On a single console, up to four players can take on each other in Gang Beasts; however, online this number is doubled to eight.

With multiple maps to compete on, players can either take part in the slapstick comedy battles and be the last person standing or team up with friends to compete against others. Overall, even with better-than-average reviews, Gang Beasts is a silly party game players are sure to enjoy with plenty of maps to fight on.

Players and their friends who enjoy the Olympic Games that occur once every four years are likely to also enjoy competing against one another in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as the likes of Mario, Sonic, or their countless friends in an assortment of sports that could also be watched at the previous Tokyo Olympics. While players can compete against the AI on the Nintendo Switch, it's far more enjoyable to get some friends together for a sport-themed party.

There are multiple themed courses and three game modes for players to enjoy. Besides this, Golf With Your Friends also provides various power-ups to help or hinder players on the course.

What makes Golf With Your Friends even better is that it can be enjoyed with up to twelve people. Thankfully, this doesn't mean that the player must have twelve Joy-Con controllers to use, as every player can share the two available. Although average reviews, golfing games make surprisingly great party titles as all players compete for a possible hole-in-one.

In this fun physics-filled game, players will be tasked with removing pieces of furniture from various homes. As they progress further in this party title, the levels will start getting harder and players will have to solve puzzles before they can get to the furniture. With the levels gradually getting harder, Moving Out can have its stressful moments which puts the party game down a few places.

With party in its name, it's unsurprising to see that Jackbox can also be enjoyed on the Nintendo Switch. What makes this title so great is that the Switch is only the platform that displays the game, but players can use their mobile phones to get involved in the various mini-games.

The Jackbox Party Pack also has plenty of different packs for players to try out, with one of the best being The Jackbox Party Pack 3. In this version, players can enjoy five different games with one of the most interesting being Trivia Murder Party, which will put the players' knowledge to the test. While an incredible party game, this doesn't actually utilize the console's hardware and is instead a means to showcase the game. This, therefore, has left this party title lower on the list.
