New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe brought back New Super Mario Bros U and New Luigi Bros U together in a bundle, including their extra modes. Miis can’t play through the main story, though they can participate in the other casual modes with up to four players: Coin Battle, Boost Rush, or Challenges. Boost Rush is like speedrun mode for grouped players to finish several courses with the best time, most coins, and least fallen lives. Every Mii wears a racing jumpsuit that’s designed with their favorite color, though they can wear other costumes involving Mario's enemies like Bowser's clown car. A convenient way for them to earn more particular outfits is by using certain amiibos to unlock them.
Just like the whole roster, Miis can participate in any mode from the Grand Prix to special battle modes like Renegade Roundup and Shine Thief. This story mode lets the Mii go through an RPG journey, encouraging them to beat familiar competitors to upgrade their stats. Included in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster are the Mii fighters. They’ve only been a part of the franchise since Super Smash Bros for Wii U. The Miis can fight using three different playstyles: Brawler for close combat, Gunner for zoning and traps, and Swordfighter for mid-range combat.
Compared to their previous iterations, their customization became more simplified with the exclusion of extra moves and size.
