El Toro + Venator + Tactical Mk. 3 (Defensive) Augment

Lethal At Mid And Close Range, Ideal For Stella Montis Scuffles

  • Good for: Aggressive Players
  • Not for: Open Maps, Long Range

This loadout rotation works incredibly well for short-range fights, since El Toro is a monster of a Gun that will take down even Heavy Shielded Raiders in only a few shots. The Venator is a decent secondary weapon that can help take down mid-range targets, or to do quick bursts in case the Il Toro is completely out of shells in its magazine. On the other hand, having the Tactical Mk 3 Defensive Augment equipped allows players to carry a Medium Shield, and also an Integrated Shield Recharger in their augmented slot.

On the other hand, having the Tactical Mk 3 Defensive Augment will allow players to jog while recharging their shields. This slight mobility advantage might sound like an unimportant detail for most players, but in reality, it is the difference between life and death, since players can take cover faster and start recharging their shields while their rivals reload or are trying to pinpoint their location during a skirmish.

Venator + Vulcano + Looting Mk. 3 (Cautious) Augment

Wanna Be A Rat Hunter? Here Are The Tools Of The Trade

  • Good for: Skirmishers, Mid Range/Close Range
  • Not for: PvE/ Long Range Fights

There has been a lot of controversy regarding hardcore PvP players in ARC Raiders, especially those flagged as 'Rats,' raiders who resort to trickery, betrayal, or camping extraction points to gain easy loot by griefing players weakened by their PvE encounters. Thankfully, there's a decent way to counter them: the Venator/Vulcano Combo, with a Looting Mk3 (Cautious) Augment.

Many people think that adding a couple of points in Effortless Roll or Fight or Flight will suffice to save them when they're in a pinch. In truth, those who are accustomed to the clutch of ARC Raiders PvP always carry Adrenaline Shots with them. The real advantageous strategy, though, comes with using the passive perk of the Mk3 Survivor Augment, which automatically injects a short-duration Adrenaline Shot when your shields are broken. This gives players the chance to use infinite dodge rolls, or sprint, slides, and heroic leaps for a time lapse of nearly 10 seconds. Enough to avoid being overwhelmed after a shield break and finding cover faster. If the enemy chases for the kill, players can switch to the Vulcano and release a barrage of endless hurt on them. They will never see that comeback.

Renegade + Venator + Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment

Surprise, Little Rat! Venator To The Face

  • Good for: Versatile Players
  • Not for: Prolonged Fights

Most players agree that the Venator is one of the top weapons in ARC Raiders, but players cannot deny that in long-range exchanges, the Venator is outmatched by most guns in the game. Enter the Renegade: A long-range lever-action carbine with decent damage both to ARC and players, and that can give players who love to use the Venator in short-range exchanges some safety distance in case they are surprised by a Ferro or Anvil fan. But drawing the Venator again after picking up the Renegade might be a problem.

That's where the Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment enters the battlefield, with its perk that causes stowed or unequipped Pistols and Hand Cannons to be draw 33% faster. If players wanted to be topside sheriffs, then this is the right build to play that role. And with so many rats roaming the topside, this combo is definitely a step in the right direction to becoming a nightmare for every PvP-hungry Raider.

Burletta + Venator + Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment

So You Want To Be A Gunslinger: Try This

  • Good for: Quickdraw, PvP-oriented players
  • Not for: PvE/scavengers

If anyone told you that using two handguns in ARC Raiders was a bad idea, then they have never tried this Gunslinger Combo using a Level IV Burletta and a Level IV Venator with max-tier Magazine mods. Players can also add whatever extra attachments that suit their tastes, if they want to go overkill and get extra precision, or be silent assassins using a Burletta with a Tier 3 Silencer (which turns it into a nailgun, barely noticeable).

But the piece of resistance comes from the Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment's passive, which, as mentioned before, makes drawing a handgun (or hand cannon) much faster. The same applies to weapon swap speed (which stacks with Skills and bonuses from attachments as well), turning Raiders into bona fide cowboys, ready to take down any foe (be it ARC, or other Raiders). Use with extreme prejudice against suspicious raiders: Always remain vigilant when exploring the wild topside.

El Toro + Tempest + Combat Mk3 (Aggressive) Augment

AKA: The Assault Trooper Build

  • Good for: Hit & Run Tactics, Prolonged Fights
  • Not for: Big PvE Encounters (Matriarch/Queen)

If ARC Raiders PvP fans want a solid combo that feels like cheating, then they'd better try this: Use an Il Toro and the Tempest, combined with the Combat Mk3 (Aggressive) Augmen t. This super-aggressive setup allows players to take foes by surprise, quickly swapping to grenades thanks to its Augmented Slots, or taking advantage of the Augment's passive healing to survive for longer, heal faster, and become a true menace as a guerrilla fighter. Add some Shaprnel Grenades and Showstoppers to the Mix, and you'll have a solid build.

Using hit and run tactics while wearing a Medium Shield is also a possibility, more so if players invested in Conditioning Perks, which are a great advantage with all things related to PvP. The Shotgun is nearly unstoppable at close range, more so when using a Choke attachment and an extended magazine, while the Torrente AR is especially powerful against distant foes. Tick off enemy players from a safe distance, let down some ordnance on their heads, then rush with the Il Toro for a quick kill. This combo is one of the most used in high-stakes matches like Night Raids.
