Ben 10 is one of the most popular superhero franchises of the 2000s. The star, Benjamin Tennyson, has a powerful alien watch – the Omnitrix – which can transform him into various forms. These transformations, or aliens, often serve a variety of purposes in both combat and day-to-day life. That said, a few of Ben's incredible aliens are clearly stronger than others.
The young hero first begins his career with ten staple aliens, but quickly unlocks hundreds more as the series progresses. Ben has aliens that can do everything, from super speed to extreme energy absorption. He also has several transformations that basically serve the same purpose. Ultimately, even though they are all interesting or useful in some way, there are several transformations Ben has access to which are considered the pinnacle of the franchise.
10 NRG is Actually a Containment Suit For a Much More Powerful Being
First Appears in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien Season 2, Episode 6, "The Forge of Creation"
NRG is one of Ben's most interesting aliens in the series. The alien's main form, which the audience sees for most of Ultimate Alien, is simply a containment suit for an even more powerful being. In their containment suit, NRG is capable of focused blasts of intense radiation and is incredibly durable. When out of their containment suit, the alien is capable of outputting attacks on a much greater scale.
Roblox: Ben 10 Super Hero Time Codes (August 2024)
If you're a Roblox fan looking for Ben 10 Super Hero Time codes, you have come to the right place. Here, you can find all of the working codes.
The Prypiatosian-B species is known for their intense durability and massive energy output, which Ben uses tremendously. The hero does have to get a little creative before he realizes he can break free from his suit, but his heat manipulation is also incredibly useful. As a being of almost pure radiation, NRG is also immune to all types of radiation, and his suit can even survive underwater. He might be slow, but NRG is easily one of the best and versatile tanks Ben has access to.
9 The Worst is Indestructible & One of Ben's Most Durable Transformations
First Appears in Ben 10: Omniverse Season 2, Episode 3, "Outbreak"
Many Ben 10 fans would agree that The Worst's name fits perfectly. When first introduced in Ben 10: Omniverse, the hero struggled to find a purpose for the creature. He doesn't have any combat abilities, he isn't particularly fast, and seems overall completely useless. Ben only discovers the truth when The Worst gets hit for the first time. The alien is immune to almost all forms of physical damage.
Ben 10 And The Evolution Of Action Cartoons
This Cartoon Network franchise has shifted into five different series which occupy a key place in the genre's gradual warping over the years.
On top of its basic immunity to punches, The Worst is also heavily resistant to most poisons. The Worst has even taken several blows from a rampaging Appoplexian, who are some of the strongest combatants in the franchise. That said, The Worst is easily Ben's least favorite alien and the only one which Ben never actively tries to transform into.
8 XLR8 Moves Fast Enough That Time Itself Stops
First Appears in Ben 10 Season 1, Episode 1, "And Then There Were 10"
XLR8 is one of Ben's first and fastest aliens. At certain points within the series, Ben even travels so fast, time itself seems to stop. While this speed isn't consistent for the character, it's safe to say XLR8 is still Ben's fastest speedster. He is rarely used after the original series, likely because the showrunners realized how truly powerful the transformation is.
Not only is XLR8 capable of traveling at extreme speeds, it can change direction on a dime. There are few fictional characters who could rival him in a race, let alone a test of reflexes. XLR8 might not be able to fly, but he can run so fast that he can easily traverse up walls and across bodies of water. Ben might have other quick aliens, but there is a reason he always comes back to XLR8.
7 Upgrade Can Take Control of Any Technology, Alien or Otherwise
First Appears in Ben 10 Season 1, Episode 4, "Permanent Retirement"
Upgrade is one of Ben's few synthetic aliens and allows him to absorb and control the powers of any technology. Ben can even access and utilize alien technology he has never seen previous to his transformation. As his name implies, Upgrade has the ability to take anything he's in control of to the next level.
The Galvanic Mechamorph is easily one of Ben's most versatile and used transformations. He has the edge over every piece of technology in existence, but can be forcibly removed, as demonstrated several times throughout the series. On its own, Upgrade is essentially powerless, but partnered with the right equipment, Ben becomes basically unstoppable.
6 Way Big Is the Largest Transformation in Ben's Arsenal
First Appears in Ben 10 Versus the Universe: The Movie
Way Big, as their name implies, is really, really big. In fact, they are easily the tallest alien Ben 10 has access to. In addition to its fantastical height, Ben is also capable of firing huge energy blasts as the alien. Ben even gains the ability to grow even taller as Ultimate Way Big, but that ability is exclusive to the Ultimatrix.
Ben's tallest alien is especially peculiar because it is one of the only aliens that Asmuth himself would unlock. After Asmuth realizes that Ben is actually the perfect candidate for his creation, he gives Ben a much-needed upgrade to defeat Vilgax. Way Big is also the alien which Ben 10,000 uses to defeat Kevin 11,000. Even Ben's most powerful adversaries can't compete with Way Big's massive height and subsequent power.
5 Gravattack Uses a Universal Law For Their Main Attack
First Appears in Ben 10: Omniverse Season 1, Episode 3, "A Jolt From the Past"
Gravattack is one of Ben's most powerful aliens as it is one of the few to utilize a fundamental universal law. Not only can Gravattack use gravity as a weapon, but it can also manipulate the gravity of others. This makes Gravattack one of Ben's most terrifying and powerful transformations. Not only is he essentially untouchable, but he can render almost any opponent inoperable within seconds.
The only way to beat Gravattack is to catch him by surprise. Otherwise, the alien would just make the surrounding area too heavy for a fight to continue. His only apparent weakness is his core, whose prolonged damage will cause him to explode. Yet, this isn't fatal for Ben and is at most a temporary set-back. Gravattack also has a planetoid form where he can manipulate gravity to an even greater degree, but changes in mass will cause his orbit to become disrupted.
4 Feedback Can Absorb Any Type of Energy
First Appears in Ben 10: Omniverse Season 1, Episode 1, "The More Things Change: Part 1"
Feedback is one of Ben's most powerful energy-wielding aliens due to its intense absorption rate. Feedback can absorb and redirect energy of literally any kind into powerful electic blasts. Feedback has even shown the ability to contain cosmic energy, as demonstrated by Ben when he reversed a weapon of mass destruction meant to destroy the entire multiverse. Feedback's greatest weakness comes from Ben and not the alien itself.
The Conductoid is apparently one of Ben's favorite transformations, causing him to favor the alien over more apt forms. Ben also becomes somewhat overconfident as the alien, which even causes him to lose it for a while. As Ben has matured, he maintains a much greater balance between Feedback and his other transformations. When it comes to energy-based combat, Feedback is one of the very best, but that doesn't mean it is Ben's only option.
3 Alien X Allows Ben to do Whatever He wants, With a Major Limitation
First Appears in Ben 10: Alien Force Season 1, Episode 13, "X = Ben + 2"
Alien X is without a doubt Ben's most powerful transformation, on paper. The Celestialsapien literally has the power of a god, capable of creating entire universes at will. Yet, there is one huge caveat which makes the transformation nearly impossible to use. As Alien X, Ben is only 1/3rd of the beings' active consciousness. Ben can only act if Serena and Bellicus are in agreement, and they can never agree on anything.
Marvel: Strongest Comic Villains Of All Time, Ranked
The world of Marvel Comics is an unforgiving place, what with these villains constantly wreaking havoc.
This is the reason most Celestialsapien's are in apparent stasis. Neither of their many personalities can come to an agreement, so they can never move. Ben demonstrates the ability to convince Serena and Bellicus to let him control Alien X several times, but it isn't a power Ben relies on actively. Ben can really only use the transformation in life or death situations, but he has used the alien to literally rewrite the multiverse.
2 Atomix Emits Powerful Atomic-Based Energy
First Appears in Ben 10: Omniverse Season 4, Episode 10, "For a Few Brains More"
Atomix is one of Ben's most powerful transformations, but also one of his most mysterious. Atomix's planet of origin and species remain unknown, but his strength is unparalleled. Like its name implies, Atomix is capable of creating large amounts of atomic energy, but it is also frighteningly strong.
Ben 10 Creator Comments on Potential for Fortnite Collab
One of the co-creators of Ben 10 is sharing his thoughts on the potential for the beloved animated series to be added to Fortnite.
Ben even uses Atomix to knock Albedo into orbit, while the latter is transformed into Ultimate Humungaur. Theoretically, Atomix is capable of creating a ball of atomic energy the size of the literal sun. Almost none of Ben's enemies can compete with that level of output. Moreover, it is one of the reasons that Atomix is rarely used by the mainline Ben and overused by Ben 10,000.
1 Clockwork Has the Power to Reverse Time, Within Certain Limits
First Appears in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien Season 3, Episode 24, "Inspector 13"
Clockwork is definitely one of Ben's most powerful transformations, solely based on the fact that it can manipulate time. While Clockwork's ability to manipulate time is somewhat limited, the fact that he can reverse time is what makes him so formidable. Anytime Clockwork loses a fight, he can simply reverse time so that he can try again until he wins.
In a fight, Clockwork is relatively easy to defeat. That said, he also has access to terrifying time rays with a multitude of effects. Clockwork can cause opponents to travel through time, or make them grow rapidly or de-age. At the end of the day, Clockwork doesn't need to fight if he can turn his opponents into a literal baby or an old man.
