The series Baymax!, which is set to air on Disney Plus on June 29th, is a spin-off of the animated film Big Hero 6 (2014), where a young prodigy named Hiro (voiced by Ryan Potter) creates Baymax to help problem solve and for companionship. Hiro then discovers a new technology, but when his idea is stolen he must transform his friends into high-tech heroes to stop the new discovery as it falls into the wrong hands. The official Baymax! Trailer begins with Hiro waking up to find his robot buddy Baymax is nowhere to be found.

It then cuts to show Baymax walking the streets of San Fransokyo trying to do what he was made to do — help others. The trailer then shows Baymax attempting to help a woman who sprained her ankle, an angry cat, a boy working at a food truck, and a couple peacefully eating a ramen dinner. It concluded with a small montage of the thrilling adventures to come throughout the remainder of the series before the official logo comes up.

The Disney Plus series created by Don Hall is set to have six episodes. Hall has revealed that throughout the series, the journey for Baymax will be more of an emotional one than fans have seen before with the character, with the character having to come to terms with the fact that not everyone wants to be helped.

With the series' official release right around the corner, Big Hero 6 fans anxiously await what's next to come from the adventures of the snuggable and lovable robot turned big hero Baymax!

Baymax! Premieres on Disney Plus on June 29, 2022.
