To celebrate Battlefield RedSec's surprise launch, players can get a hold of a bunch of free Twitch Drop rewards. Here is how.
How to Set Up Custom Weapons for Battlefield RedSec
Before you can get a hold of custom weapons in Battlefield RedSec, you must first set up the custom weapons you want to use. This can be done in the pregame lobby, and all you have to do is favorite the weapons you want to use. To do this, head to Loadouts, select any Class, and then click on the weapon equipped for that class. Then, select the weapon you want to use in RedSec, hit Modify, and then hit Favorite. Doing so will save that custom build and have it ready for use in Battlefield RedSec.
All your favorite weapons will appear in their own dedicated Favorite Section. However, you are limited to 8 favorite weapons at a time, so if you want to add more, you’ll need to unfavorite some of the ones you’ve already selected first.
How to Get Custom Weapons in Battlefield RedSec
To get your custom weapons in Battlefield RedSec, you’ll need to find a Custom Weapon Drop. These will drop into the map at different intervals throughout the match, most notably when a new safe zone appears. Their locations will be shown on both the map and your HUD when you get close to one.
Once you’ve located a Custom Weapon Drop, head over to it and press the interact button to open it. Here, you’ll be able to pick any one of the weapons you favorited earlier, complete with the attachments, camos, and other customizations you’ve equipped. However, players are limited to one weapon per drop, so make sure to choose the one you really want to use right away.
All squad members can make use of a Custom Weapon Drop. However, enemy players will likely be watching these drops as well, so be sure to stay alert and clear the area to avoid getting shot in the back.
