One Battlefield 6 player recreates the fan-favorite Noshahr Canals map from BF3 using the game's powerful Portal toolset. Since it launched, Battlefield 6 has proven to be immensely popular, hosting massive concurrent player numbers and posting huge sales figures for EA less than a week after it released.
While there's already a good amount of content out of the box, including the return of a single-player campaign and a comprehensive multiplayer suite of options, it's Battlefield 6's Portal mode that has a ton of potential for the future. Originally debuting in Battlefield 2042, the Portal has seen a substantial upgrade in the current game, giving players more control and options to play with. Already, players have created tons of content using it, with some taking inspiration from the history of the franchise.

Battlefield 6 Player Recreates Noshahr Canals
Portal creators have already shown off how powerful the tool can be, with Call of Duty's Shipment map being remade in Battlefield 6. However, one creator known as Matavatar recently completed work on a Portal made Noshahr Canals map, and the results are very impressive. The video takes players through the environment, which will likely give Battlefield 3 players plenty of nostalgia, even with the map template being set within one of the New York maps from Battlefield 6.
Matavatar admits that the creation took them a while to pull off, largely due to the limitations and available assets, and for now, there are no experiences available with the map at the moment. Responding to a fan, Matavatar seemingly used Battlefield 2042's take on Noshahr Canals for reference, utilizing the engineer Lis and her G-84 TGM shoulder launcher since it has a rangefinder equipped on it.
While there are plenty of good Portal experiences already available in game, the tool has come under a bit of fire lately as many players have been using it as well as custom matches to create XP farms. While that was also a common issue in Battlefield 2042, it has led to errors related to the servers being at capacity and has caught the attention of developers. In fact, DICE plans to address XP progression in Battlefield 6, hopefully diminishing the need for so many custom farming experiences in general and freeing up that valuable space.
