New Battlefield 6 footage has been leaked, teasing some of the game's cinematic and destructive moments from the single-player campaign. Leaks for Battlefield 6 suggest that the game will have multiple modes, including the signature multiplayer experience that Battlefield fans have some to know and enjoy for many years now.

Although Battlefield 6 has not been officially revealed, its status as an upcoming game by EA and the developers at Battlefield Studios is far from being a secret. Introduced in February 2025, the Battlefield Labs program lets players test out features and content that will make its way into Battlefield 6, and more players have been joining the program under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), thanks to recent waves of Battlefield Labs invites. However, NDAs haven't stopped some players from leaking information and footage for Battlefield 6 as development continues.

More Leaked Battlefield Footage Reveals New Gameplay Mechanics and Animations

Several impressive game mechanics set to appear in the highly anticipated next Battlefield game come to light following recent playtest leaks.

As reported by RockPaperShotgun, new footage of Battlefield 6 was leaked by dataminer temporyal on Twitter, highlighting a short clip from what appears to be the game's single-player campaign with a cinematic and destructive moment. The footage shows the finale of a mission where the final objective involves destroying a dam in Tajikistan. The footage shows the player escaping from the dam at the last minute as it collapses, while bomber jets unleash a payload within the vicinity. Since the mission is a work-in-progress, there's no sound, but the explosive effects that Battlefield fans can expect are intact.

New Battlefield 6 Leaked Footage Shows Cinematic and Destructive Moments from the Single-Player Campaign

It should be noted that the leaked Battlefield 6 footage is not a final representation of the game's campaign, as content can change drastically before the game's launch. There are unfinished elements of the mission present within the footage, including greybox geometry, placeholder props, unfinished animations, and other indicators to show that development is still in progress. However, the footage does show off the game's destruction elements and scale, and datamines appear to show that there will be missing taking place in the US, Egypt, and Gibraltar as well.

Recent leaks have also suggested that Battlefield 6 could have a new battle royale mode. The new battle royale mode will supposedly have many similarities with Activision's ever-popular Call of Duty: Warzone, including supply drops and mission-based rewards. In addition, a feature called the "Oversight System" allows dead players to take control of drones, turrets, and cameras to help their surviving squad mates. If the leaks are accurate, then the battle royale mode could be one of the key highlights of the Battlefield 6 reveal this summer. Afterward, the new Battlefield game is expected to launch within EA's current fiscal year, which runs until March 31, 2026.
