A Battlefield 6 leak from a past Battlefield Labs pre-alpha test has revealed new vehicle gameplay, giving players a glimpse into multiplayer before the reveal event. EA released the first trailer for Battlefield 6 on July 24 to offer a first glimpse into the game's single-player campaign and its modern-day setting.

The Battlefield 6 reveal trailer gave fans an early look into the intense infantry combat and aerial dogfights that can be expected from the highly anticipated Battlefield game. The story's campaign focuses on NATO's conflicts against a militarized, antagonistic force known as Pax Armata. Pax Armata has carried out attacks across key locations around the world, including New York City, and players are tasked with quelling the threat in various missions. Moreover, Battlefield 6 appears to hone in on dense city combat and destruction elements, just like some of the most beloved entries in the Battlefield series. Although multiplayer footage hasn't been officially revealed by EA yet, leaks in recent months have given fans a tease of what's to come.

Battlefield 6 Is Picking Up a Ball Modern Warfare Fumbled, and It Should Keep on Running

One of the better design ideas that got left behind from the old Modern Warfare games could potentially work even better for Battlefield 6.

SphinxFPS leaked new Battlefield 6 footage from the Battlefield Labs pre-alpha on YouTube, revealing nearly 26 minutes of gameplay featuring main battle tanks (MBTs) and infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). The footage starts with a player using Battlefield's signature repair tool to repair a teammate's MBT, and it's clear that the repair tool has been unchanged from past iterations of Battlefield. The majority of the footage shows the player using tanks and IFVs in Battlefield 6's returning Conquest mode, which appears to include maps set in Cairo, Egypt and the Iberian Peninsula.

Battlefield 6 Leak Reveals Vehicle Gameplay With Battle Tanks and Infantry Fighting Vehicles

The Battlefield 6 leak is rather straightforward, but it does show that players can expect the same squad- and team-based combat that Battlefield's multiplayer modes are known for. Many Battlefield fans in the comments of the leaked video are happy that Battlefield 6 is shaping up to be a return to form for the series. However, it should be noted that Battlefield Labs is not directly representative of the final product, as it's a pre-alpha with features that are a work-in-progress.

More official details will be revealed during the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal event on July 31 at 11:30 a.m. PT / 2:30 p.m. ET via EA's social media channels. A Battlefield 6 open beta is seemingly planned, which will allow players to test out some of the game's official playlists. The playlists will have options to play with Signature Weapons locked to classes or not.
