The videos show off two different matches of Battlefield 6's "Operation Firestorm" game mode, showing off the player in a chaotic battle royale firefight. The pair of videos give a glimpse of a new Battlefield 6 map used for the Firestorm game mode,. The video also showcases a notably larger spawn area within the game mode, with a wide variety of different points for players to begin the match.
Battlefield 6 Leak Shows Operation Firestorm Gameplay
Battlefield 6 looks to be bringing plenty of exciting changes to the franchise with the newest installment of the beloved shooter. The game will be debuting a brand-new movement system referred to as the "Kinesthetic Combat System," adding new improvements to the cover system, riding vehicles and plenty more. Battlefield 6 will also feature the return of the "Portal" map creation tool first featured in Battlefield 2042, allowing players on PC to build their own custom game modes and matches in Battlefield 6.
The leadup to Battlefield 6's launch has clearly served to hype fans up about the return of the beloved shooter franchise. Alongside the previously-mentioned player counts during the game's open beta test, a fan survey even revealed that gamers may be more excited for Battlefield 6 than Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. DICE and EA have also confirmed that Battlefield Labs members will have another chance to playtest Battlefield 6, with an exclusive beta test set to begin on August 29th.
