The Battlefield 6 Anti-Cheat team acknowledges some feedback from fans regarding the current state of the Open Beta, while also providing stats for how much has been dealt with so far. Following the Early Access portion, the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is now live, giving players their first opportunity to jump in to experience the upcoming game before its launch.
As is the case with many online games, cheating and hacking typically become a big topic of discussion and, so far, that has proven true with Battlefield 6. Even though EA came out and confirmed that Battlefield 6 will launch with the Javelin anti-cheat system, the beta tests have seen a fair share of cheating already. Although fans were surprised to see things like wallhacking taking place, the community is hopeful that these issues will be handled by the time the game launches.
Battlefield 6 Open Beta Reveals Exclusive Skin for PS5 Players
The Battlefield 6 Open Beta in early access currently, Sony reveals a new exclusive skin PS5 players can obtain for the full launch later this year.
Battlefield 6 Has Already Blocked A Substantial Amount of Cheating Attempts
With the Open Beta now available for the first weekend, the EA Anticheat team is addressing some of the current cheating issues in Battlefield 6. In a lengthy thread on the EA forums, it was revealed that over 330,000 cheating or tampering attempts have already been blocked by Javelin just in the Early Access period alone. Not only that, 44,000 reports were filed by players on Day 1, with another 60,000 coming in on day 2.
However, the post indicates that this is only the first step as Battlefield 6 heads towards its launch date. The reports and blocked attempts help the system improve as the Gameplay Integrity team continues to update the system. With the Battlefield 6 Open Beta now live, it stands to reason that these numbers will significantly increase, though fans are hopeful that going through this during the beta weekends will help bring about a better online experience on day 1.
Following the game's reveal and subsequent multiplayer event, there has seemingly been a ton of excitement and anticipation within the community. Even before the early access portion launched, Battlefield 6 fans were queuing in massive numbers for the open beta, even though the servers were not switched on at that point. It certainly helps that most players have liked what they've seen so far, with many in agreement that Battlefield 6 looks to be a strong return to form for the franchise.
