Battlefield 6 is definitely off to a strong start, with an excellent launch that has players hyped. With a ton of additional content arriving with Season 1, there’s probably no better time to dive into Battlefield 6 than right now. Of course, as new seasonal content rolls out, players may want to jump in and get a head start on their Assignments.
PSA: Battlefield 6 Is Getting A New Best Sniper
Battlefield 6 Season One introduces a new sniper rifle, and with its quick chambering, reloading, and aiming, it's set to be the best in the game.
How to Get Savior Kills in Battlefield 6
Savior Kills are earned when players eliminate an enemy that is actively damaging their teammates or allies, effectively saving them from death. While players may rack up Savior Kills passively, the best way to farm them is by playing large-scale modes like Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough, and Escalation.
Since players are usually grouped in these modes, there are more opportunities to score Savior Kills. However, Squad Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Domination can also work well for those sticking close to their teammates.
Savior Kills are required for the first Protection Expert Unit Assignment, which tasks players with earning 30 of them to unlock the Polysteel Fireteam Vedmak Support Skin. They’re also needed for the Squad Deathmatch Challenge 2 under Unit Assignments, which specifically requires players to earn 30 Savior Kills in Squad Deathmatch. Completing this challenge rewards players with the Thorn Espada Support Skin.
How to Get Payback Kills in Battlefield 6
Payback Kills, or Payback Accolades, are a little different from Savior Kills. Instead of being earned by taking out enemies that have damaged your teammates, Payback Kills are earned by eliminating the last enemy that killed you. This can be done by getting taken out and then respawning or getting revived before killing that same player, or by somehow taking them out while you’re down, such as with mines or grenades.
Payback Kills are something players will naturally rack up over time. However, the best way to farm them quickly is by playing CQB modes like Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, and Domination. Since the maps in these modes are smaller, you’re much more likely to run into players who have already taken you out compared to larger-scale modes like Conquest.
Payback Kills are required for the first Protection Expert Unit Assignment Challenge, where players need to earn 10 of them along with 50 multi-kills. Completing this challenge rewards players with the Polysteel Fireteam Vedmak Engineer Skin, and the Grey Strike Coyote Squad Engineer Skin. Payback Kills may also be needed for other challenges, such as Daily and Weekly Challenges, for additional XP.
