BattleBit Remastered has a ton of guns for players to pick from and a boatload of attachments to customize them with. Knowing which one of these attachments to use can be a little confusing, especially since the numbers in the loadout screen may be a bit too arbitrary for the ordinary player.
Attachments do matter in BattleBit Remastered, and using the right ones for the right gun can lead to a world of difference. Here are some recommended setups for the three beginner assault rifles in the game.
M4A1 Breacher Loadout
The M4A1 is one of the first two assault rifles that are unlocked by default. It has a fire rate, good accuracy, and a burst-fire mode for mid-ranged shooting, making it a very versatile piece of kit.
Its rate of fire is what stands out the most among the three starter assault rifles, and players can get a strong run-and-gun weapon out of this just by attaching the B-25 URK Grip and Compensator to the rifle. These two are enough to make the M4A1 very stable in full-auto mode.
This attachment combo will take a toll on the gun's accuracy over longer ranges, which means players will get the most out of this by adopting a breacher-style approach when playing. Consider equipping the Quick A magazine for faster reloads and either the Tactical Flashlight or a laser sight for close-quarters engagements.
AK74 Balanced Loadout
The AK74 is the other default assault rifle, and it boasts lower recoil across the board at the cost of rate of fire. It doesn't shoot as fast as the M4A1, but it hits a bit harder over longer distances in the game's large maps, and it is much easier to control.
Out of the three beginner rifles, the AK74 is arguably the best all-rounder. To round it out even further, equip the Long Barrel along with the Vertical Grip. These two improve the gun's accuracy, recoil, and damage, making it incredible in mid-ranged fights.
With this attachment combo, players can take the AK74 anywhere and still be effective against every other gun. However, the gun's high accuracy and stability mean players can equip a medium-ranged scope onto it and still be effective at longer distances while firing in short bursts.
AK15 Aggressive Assault Loadout
The AK15 is the first assault rifle players will unlock and, as of the early access version, it can down unarmored players in three body hits, making it much more lethal compared to the other two. However, to compensate for its higher damage profile, the gun kicks like a mule.
This assault rifle excels in aggressive pushes in close-medium ranges. By equipping the Flash Hider and Vertical Grip attachments, players will be able to reign in the AK15's harsh horizontal recoil without making its upward kick any stronger. There will still be some visible shaking when firing this gun, but it won't be as bad as it normally would be.
Like in the M4 setup, this attachment combo will sacrifice a bit of the weapon's accuracy. Try to stick to engagements within 50 meters and switch to single-shot mode when firing at targets anywhere beyond that range. A close-ranged optic is highly recommended since ring sights might be too obstructive.
Note that attachments like the B-25 and Flash Hider are locked behind weapon-specific progression. Players will need to get enough kills with the gun of their choice before they can unlock the attachments they want.
