Baldur's Gate 3 is a deep CRPG harkening back to many older games, and its roots in Dungeons & Dragons. This means you can expect deep customization of your character's build and statistics. Players looking to make their character a rogue or heavily use Astarion should keep an eye out for light armor and weapons to stay quick on their feet. One particularly good piece of gear for rogues is the Drow Studded Leather Armor. This stylish light armor closely resembles Minthara's gear and gives a +1 Stealth modifier to its wearer. You can find it relatively early in Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3.

Enter the Underdark
You must enter the Underdark to find the armor. There are many ways to enter the cavernous underbelly of Baldur's Gate 3. This guide will take you through the chapel under the Goblin Camp. Sneak past the priestess' guard or deal with it to find the secret entrance near her quarters. Solve the moon puzzle or lockpick your way through to enter the depths.
You will find yourself at the remnants of an old outpost. The statue guards the locked gate ahead, and you will see it kill a charging minotaur. Head to the left through the open arch to the left and jump down.
Fight the Spectator
Push past the petrified elves to bump into the terrifying Spectator. This creature will regularly attack the party with spells that cause paralysis. Quickly defeat it, otherwise, it will awaken more petrified elves as each turn passes. Defeat it to meet Dhourn. This Drow elf has been petrified for some time while on his search for the legendary Adamantine Forge. He will fight the party after deeming them rivals, but he is rather weak.
Fight the Bulette
Save and continue down the path ahead. There are many traps among some noxious fume clouds, so carefully descend while disarming them. At the bottom of the path, the ground will begin to violently shake. The Bulette burrowing under the floor will attack. This attack will knock characters caught in it prone.
Lead with a single character to bait the enemy out. It's best to get down the nearby ledges when it comes out of the ground. This way, characters won't be knocked off the cliff by its attacks. Quickly defeat to avoid having to deal with the burrowing attack again.
Find & Open the Heavy Chest
After defeating the Bulette, head directly north. Destroy the spiderwebs blocking the path to find a Heavy Chest.
This chest is locked and has a 15 lockpicking skill check required to open it. Use Astarion or your rogue character to crack it open with a Thieves' Tool. Pick up the sleek and stealthy Drow Studded Leather Armor.
