Baldur’s Gate 3 has an incredible soundtrack as well as original songs, but there’s one version of a beloved song that players likely haven’t encountered. It’s an Easter Egg, and players can only trigger it by walking into certain areas.

There are tons of Easter Eggs in Baldur’s Gate 3, but some of them are harder to find or trigger than others. The secret Easter Egg camp song is one of the most missed. There are actually two places where the song can trigger, and Patch 8 introduced a third location.

Players need to camp in Act I and Act III to trigger the song. For those in Act I, make camp somewhere in the forest area. Players will want the campsite that spawns a small boulder behind Astarion’s tent.

Climb up on the rock, and a special version of the “I Want to Live” song plays. Most fans are likely familiar with the theme, but the version that most players tend to hear is the instrumental version. The secret Easter Egg camp song version is lyrical with the game’s composer, Borislav Slavov, singing alongside Ilona Ivanova, who also sang “Weeping Dawn.” She also voiced the character, Alfira.

Players can access the camp location as soon as they crash-land from the Nautiloid.

The song plays again in Act III shortly after the party leaves Act II. Players only have one chance to find the Easter Egg camp song in Baldur's Gate 3 in this part of the game. Shortly after The Emperor reveals what he is, players will camp for the evening.

The area is a beautiful location that overlooks Baldur's Gate and Wyrm's Crossing, in particular. To get the song to play, players need to move their character up a hill that provides an incredible view of Wyrm's Crossing. As they reach the hill's peak, the song will begin to play.

Since players can't return to this spot after sleeping through the night, it's an easy Easter Egg to miss.

Keep reading past the spoiler warning below for those who want to know the exact location.

The following reveals the location of the third Easter Egg camp song. Players have been warned.

To find the third song, players need to make their way to Rosymorn Monastery. The area alone has some incredible views. However, if players make camp close to the monastery—although not inside it—their camp has an area where the secret Easter Egg camp song plays.
