The most recent update for Baldur's Gate 3 included a highly requested accessibility feature for color-blind individuals, adding a setting to select from protanopia, deuteranopia, or tritanopia. Announced over social media, Larian Studios released Hotfix 10 for Baldur's Gate 3, which primarily addresses visual issues and bugs. Some of the more annoying issues players have been running into lately involved an audio-related glitch which caused the popular companion Astarion to desync resulting in the voiced lines no longer matching the captions. Shadowheart also received a fix that sought to address a puzzling issue where she sometimes wanders off from the party.

The Baldur's Gate 3 hotfix also adjusts numerous visual issues including sliders for eye makeup and tattoo intensity and male dwarf barbarian shoes which were missing texture. A potential game crash related to Vulkan has been fixed as well as Ramazith's Tower enemies getting stuck during combat. Larian also mentioned that it is looking into more recently reported issues from the community and that Hotfix 10 is going under further tests before it is released soon for Mac players.

Recently, there has been plenty of talk surrounding the imminent arrival of the Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3. Seemingly beset by endless amounts of speculation and rumors, Larian has maintained that the XBox version is still on track for a 2023 launch, though an actual date has not been set as it continues to go through tests to ensure the studio can be confident in the release version.
