Now, a modder called tinybike has unveiled a new real-time combat mod for Baldur’s Gate 3. Described as a “very rough draft” by its creator, the mod essentially allows the player to control their BG3 character in real-time, making fights much, much faster, but harder to control. Tinybike also unveiled a short video showcasing the combat, in which they can be seen fighting bandits in a ruin near the game’s beginning. At the moment, however, the mod does not have some important features, such as the ability to pause during fights or an AI for companions. So, gamers who don’t want to play their character solo may want to wait a few weeks before downloading the mod.

Obviously, this will likely be a controversial mod.
