A Baldur's Gate 3 player online has shared their awesome character creation, which brings Lohse, one of the best characters in Divinity: Original Sin 2, to life in Larian's latest RPG. Lohse is one of the main characters in 2017's Divinity: Original Sin 2, which was also developed by Larian, and one gamer has brought her into Baldur's Gate 3.
The character creator in Baldur's Gate 3 has already produced a bunch of awesome builds for gamers to play around with. Some look to create the most overpowered character in the game, while others build to roleplay a character from another franchise - there's no wrong way to take part in this regard. Just recently, one Baldur's Gate 3 player created a clever build based on Marvel's Black Widow, which is another example of how characters outside the game are being recreated by the community.
Baldur's Gate 3 Once Had a Different Ending for Astarion
Larian reveals that one of Astarion's endings in Baldur's Gate 3 was originally planned to be much different than the one that ended up in the game.
Redditor Indoril_Nerechad767 shared the awesome recreation of Lohse from Divinity: Original Sin 2, and the resemblance is uncanny. It looks exactly like the character, and is even set as a Baldur's Gate 3 Bard to ensure this build is accurate beyond just the appearance. Many in the thread reported creating a similar build for their playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, and this is because Lohse is often seen as one of the best characters in Larian's previous effort. Considering the aesthetic similarities between the Divinity and Baldur's Gate series, Lohse fits in seamlessly.
Baldur's Gate 3 Player Recreates Lohse From Divinity: Original Sin 2
Many in the thread pointed out just how perfect Lohse is for a Dark Urge playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3. Throughout Divinity: Original Sin 2, Lohse battles with internal demons that she struggles to control, and keeps them hidden from her companions. It certainly sounds extremely similar to the Dark Urge, and considering it's one of the best storylines in Divinity: Original Sin 2, it's no coincidence that this kind of plot has returned from one Larian title to the next.
With Larian confirming it has two big RPG projects in the works, it remains to be seen whether the studio will return for Divinity: Original Sin 3. No longer shackled under Wizards of the Coast and Baldur's Gate, the developer will be able to take more risks with its upcoming projects, and coming back to Divinity makes a ton of sense. It's an opportunity to grow the IP even further, but it'll likely be a long time before Larian can speak about its upcoming plans, for now.
