How To Get To Cazador’s Palace In Baldur’s Gate 3

To reach Cazador’s Palace, players must enter the towers near the Lower City Central Wall waypoint in the Lower City. But, to get to that waypoint, you must make a long journey from the Rivington waypoint, which is the first spot the group spawns in upon reaching Act 3 in Baldur’s Gate 3.

From Rivington, head north along the dirt path, past the Circus of the Last Days until you reach the South Span Checkpoint. There, you will automatically enter a conversation with the guards. There are two ways to pass by:

Fight your way through by initiating the combat or failing a Deception/Persuasion check.
Pay the 200 Gold Coins fine and then agree to be captured quietly. A group of Gnomes will appear and distract the guards, allowing players to pass through quietly. However, keep in mind that this requires completing the Gnomes' quest in Act 2 by rescuing Wulbren and the Tieflings from Moonrise Tower.

Now that players have arrived at the South Span of Wyrm’s Crossing checkpoint, keep going north until you see two guards and one Steel Watcher on a bridge, blocking the entrance to the Fortress. There are two simple methods to sneak inside the Wyrm's Rock Fortress in Baldur’s Gate 3; Persuade the guards by doing a Persuasion or Deception check or going through the Wyrm’s Rock Prison secret entrance.

The latter involves using Feather Fall and jumping on the lower hill from the eastern wooden platform. Go north and pass a Perception check to find a Crack in Wall to Prison. Lock pick a couple of doors until you are out of the prison and inside the Fortress. A Steel Watcher will tell players that Gortash is expecting them, but you can ignore it and proceed north to the Lower City.

Once you're near Basilisk Gate, keep going west until you arrive at the Lower City Central Wall waypoint. From there, turn southwest and enter the double doors. Go up the stairs and go through another door, then climb the ladder. When questioned by the guards, choose the Deception check.

Accept the key, then proceed forward up the stairs into the Ramparts to finally arrive at Cazador’s Palace entrance. Go inside and start exploring the castle. It’s advised to bring Astarion with you as he plays a huge part in Cazador Szarr’s fate.
