Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a hit among fans, old and new. With its gameplay based on Dungeons & Dragons, it can be quite an experience for many players unfamiliar with the game.
The game puts the player in many difficult situations, with some even testing their morals. One of these situations is a conflict between Wyll, one of their companions, and Karlach, a supposed Devil he is hunting down.
Where To Find Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3
To find Karlach, the player must head towards the Risen Road. They can get there after heading north from the Blighted Village and after jumping over a broken bridge where they will have to face hyenas before reaching her.
Once the Hyenas are defeated, the player should continue forward, until they find a log that leads to the Forest, where Karlach will be found.
Who To Side With Between Karlach And Wyll
When the player recruits Wyll, they will get “The Blade Of Frontiers” quest. The main goal of which includes hunting down Karlach, who he sees as a Devil and a danger.
If You Side With Karlach
When Wyll finds Karlach, he will want to kill her. However, the player has the option to convince him otherwise as they realize she is not a bad person, and not a Devil, but a Tiefling.
If the player is successful, Wyll will soften up and let go of his goal of killing Karlach. However, if Karlach doesn’t get killed, Wyll will have to pay a price - which is him getting turned into a Devil by Mizora. In exchange, Karlach joins the player, and she is quite powerful as Barbarian Tiefling.
If You Side With Wyll And Kill Karlach
If the player wants, they can instead side with Wyll. This will cause a fight with Karlach, where the player has to kill her. If under-leveled, it can be a tad hard, as she is at level 3 and has 32 hit points.
When the player finishes her off, they can loot her body, which includes camp supplies, points, a great axe, Karlach’s infernal trousers, Barbarian clothes, and more. Wyll will not be turned into a Devil, but he will not feel great after the fight. The player also loses a powerful possible companion.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available to play on PC and PlayStation 5.
