Sage Mushrooms are a cooking ingredient in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that grow in caves throughout Pandora. Only specimens of fine rarity can be found within most caves, though, and players will need to target specific areas if they want to collect rarer Sage Mushrooms. Before players set out in search of superior and exquisite Sage Mushrooms, it is highly recommended that they use the Hunter's Gudie to pin the fungus. While this action is certainly not requisite, Sage Mushrooms will glow yellow when they are viewed with Na'vi Senses if they have been pinned, making it very easy to distinguish them from any other flora in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that may be growing nearby.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: Exquisite Sage Mushroom Location

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora players that are on the hunt for a rare Sage Mushrooms should make their way to The Cut, a domain in the southwest corner of the Clouded Forest. Fans that explore the south side of that domain will encounter Meadow's Edge, a Resistance Field Research Lab that is situated near a river, approximately 4km south of the Clouded Forest's Resistance Hideout. There is a cave entrance on the bank of that river where it bends, and its precise position has been marked on the following maps:

After passing through the entrance, players should use Na'vi Senses to locate and inspect the Sage Mushrooms that grow inside the cave. These actions will reveal the rarity of the specimens, and some of the mushrooms may be superior or exquisite. If a fan only finds fine Sage Mushrooms in the cave, they should harvest all of them, use the campfire at the nearby Meadow's Edge Field Lab to pass several in-game days, and then check the location again.

To note, the Hunter's Guide indicates that Sage Mushrooms are at their best quality at night, and the aforementioned Meadow's Edge Field Lab campfire makes it very easy to harvest them at that time. Holding the left joystick down and to the left when pulling these mushrooms will also yield pristine specimens, which are ostensibly of higher quality. That said, these bonuses seem to have little impact on the potency of this Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora material, and players need not be too concerned about obtaining perfect specimens.
