Here's everything fans need to know about the Ikran in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.

Playing like Far Cry, players will likely encounter various outposts created by the RDA that they will need to shut down if they hope to help the Na'vi people. In the early game, gamers are likely to start seeing the beginning of their weaponry options, making their choice of what to craft during the early game pretty important.

8 Hunter Spear-Thrower

The First Spear-Thrower A Player Gets

A Hunter spear-thrower in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Requires a bone of fine quality to craft it.

The spear-thrower is the second to last weapon a player is likely to unlock while exploring the open-world game of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. In order for a player to get this initial design for the spear, they will need to progress the story far enough to adventure into the Upper Plains, where they will first encounter the Zeswa clan.

While this weapon is a great starting Spear-thrower, players are likely to have found or crafted better weaponry before reaching this point of the game. If players want to have a promising chance when using the Hunter Spear-thrower, they should be sure to craft a new one with better materials.

7 Shotgun

Lethal But Loud

  • Cannot be crafted.

When playing as a Na'vi, a player may wish to use the weaponry commonly used by them in the Avatar films. However, at some points, a situation calls for more than a simple bow, and that is where a shotgun comes in handy. Players won't be able to craft their very own gun and, therefore, will need to rely on finding one in the wild by completing various RDA outposts.

These places will naturally start to give the player upgraded versions of the weaponry available, with shotguns being one of the best. The only issue with it is how loud it can be to use, and the player needs to be up close to do any real damage.

6 Assault Rifle

When The Battle Gets Hectic, Choose A Reliable Gun

  • Cannot be crafted.

Alternatively to the shotgun, players are also able to get their hands on another gun in the action-adventure of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Players earn their assault rifle even sooner than they get their hands on a shotgun, with the game introducing players to gun combat early into the title as they fight off waves of RDA forces.

Fans intending to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for the first time may want to keep these simple tips and tricks in mind.

This is another weapon that cannot be crafted but is instead found through completing various RDA outposts and facilities, which gradually increase in difficulty as the player progresses through the story and explores the map of Pandora.

5 Blazing Longbow

A Deadly Longbow With Fiery Arrows

The Blazing Longbow in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Requires any branch and any bast of fine quality.

Players will both unlock the crafting recipe and earn the Blazing Longbow while progressing through the story of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Though given after a touching moment, players can't deny the usefulness of the Blazing Longbow.

What makes this longbow such a great choice early on is the addition of allowing players to create and use fire arrows when they have the bow equipped. While these arrows may require the player to use more resources to create them, the additional burning damage can work wonders when dealing with deadly RDA mechs.

4 Eetu's Heavy Bow

Poisonous Arrows To Slowly Sap Health

Eetu’s Heavy Bow in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Requires any root of fine quality.

Players are introduced to the joy and sheer power of heavy bows when they first make it to the Hometree during the main story of the Avatar game for the first time. They are tasked with finding the Na'vi Hunter Eetu, who teaches the player about hunting and using a heavy bow. This is where he gives them this bow, which does more than pack a punch.

Alongside the bow he gives the player, he also hands them the design that allows them to make their own improved version of it. Both versions allow players to craft poisonous arrows, which will gradually damage an enemy over time if they are hit by its poisonous tip.

3 Kitangi's Venomous Longbow

Easy To Make But Dangerous For Enemies

Kitangi’s Venemous Longbow in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Requires any branch and any bast in fine quality.

The longbow design received from Kitangi in the Hometree is another bow that can use poisonous arrows. Players may instead prefer this option early on due to it having a shorter draw time rather than hiding in the shadows and waiting for the right time to strike with a heavy bow instead.

Players are also likely to get this design sooner than the heavy chow provided by Eetu if they decide to sway away from the main story once they have arrived at the Hometree.

2 Nimble Longbow

Simple Yet Effective With Explosive Arrows

  • Requires any branch of fine quality.

Surprisingly, one of the greatest longbows a player can use early into their playthrough of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is one that players are given from the very beginning of the title. Unlike many of the other bows mentioned, the Nimble Longbow contains an arrow type that few others have.

These are explosive arrows. While not great when trying to be stealthy, these explosive arrows are great for dealing with groups of enemies that are bundled together or those who wish to quickly dispatch a mech with just a few hits.

1 Kitangi's Heavy Bow

A Heavy Bow With Even More Lethal Arrows

Kitangi’s Heavy Bow in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Requires any root and any bast of fine quality.

Out of all the available weaponry to players at the start of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, one of the greatest weapons players should be working toward at the beginning of the game is Kitangi's Heavy Bow. Players will find the design for this Heavy Bow when they talk to Kitangi.

Heavy Bows are already incredibly lethal, making them perfect for hunting animals or dealing with harder enemies. This Bow also comes with piercing arrows that the player can craft with a few extra resources than just sticks. These deal even more damage than the regular arrow, allowing players to plunge through enemy defenses with ease.
