Industry Focus
If I had to choose a particular subset of the games industry, it'd be console gaming. PlayStation consoles, if we must narrow it down further. I've grown up playing on them ever since the PS2, and I'm still tuned into them 20 years later. PlayStation hardware and their overall business are something I take deep interest in.
Favorite Games
God of War is my GOAT. The way Santa Monica twists well-known mythologies to create enchanting stories is an art form.
Gran Turismo is a close second. I love cars as much as I love games, so it's obvious that something that marries them so perfectly would be high on my list.
Grand Theft Auto, despite GTA Online basically being a parody of itself. GTA 6 looks to be a proper return to form, and I'm mega-hyped for it.
Favorite Console
Hands down the PS3. No other console in history has had that disastrous a launch and that amazing a comeback. The PS3 did it all because of the games, some of which Sony really should be revisiting, like MotorStorm, SOCOM, Gravity Rush, MAG, Warhawk, and so many more.
