Trumann started writing for news around 2017-2018, with a specialization in local news and gaming reviews for a local paper. He began writing for TheBestWarGames in June 2021 as one of the team's Weekend News Writers. Trumann is an enthusiastic gamer who is a huge fan and has specialized-to-above average knowledge regarding Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros., Like a Dragon/Yakuza, and Persona. He regularly participates in these fandoms and is always looking to try out a new game or franchise whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Trumann's gaming interests began with the GameCube and has continued to expand with several consoles and games in his library, with his PS3, PS4, and eventually PC being a gateway to a variety of gaming franchises outside of Nintendo.

Favorite Single-Player: Yakuza 0, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Frontiers, Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem Awakening, Kid Icarus Uprising, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Pokemon LeafGreen, Persona 5, Ghost Trick.

Favorite Multiplayer: Splatoon 2, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

A lot of these games are favorites in terms of storytelling or mechanics, while others like Double Dash and LeafGreen are ones that Trumann has immense amounts of nostalgia for.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Beating Trainer Red in Pokemon SoulSilver after putting it off for many years using the in-game team constructed throughout the game.

Beating Jo Amon in Yakuza Kiwami after spending a week to complete all the relevant substories and his super tough boss fight.

100% completing Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star, which was Trumann's first ever PS3 Platinum.

Defeating superboss Elizabeth in Persona 3 Reload.
