About Stanley Sills
Stanley began his career in journalism and creative writing during his university studies. From scriptwriting to music, his passion for video games as an immersive storytelling device grew in his role as the sole game developer in Unity and Unreal Engine. He further explored the capacities of the medium through his dissertation on the adaptation of video games to TV and film, citing The Last of Us and Resident Evil as his main inspirations. As an avid and dedicated fan of narrative action adventures, Stanley also collects platinum trophies on PlayStation.
Favorite Games
As a mostly PlayStation gamer, I naturally gravitated towards narrative-based action and adventure games. Some of my favorites include The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted, Resident Evil, and I hold a special place in my heart for Black Ops: Zombies.
Industry Focus
I mainly write news articles on the latest/ upcoming video game adaptations. But I also sometimes write my own analysis of the aforementioned adaptations.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
It's a tie between getting the platinum trophy in Red Dead Redemption 2 and reaching round 100 in Shadows of Evil.
