About Smangaliso Simelane
Smangaliso Simelane is happiest when he's tapping on his keyboard or gripping a controller. He has been writing about video games since 2020 and he's not about to stop any time soon.
He mostly enjoys third-person action-adventure games, but he's willing to try anything. Over the years he's also developed a deep in VR gaming, and he believes that this often neglected gaming platform will see far more growth as it becomes more accessible and developers gain familiarity with it.
Some of his favorite games include The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Alan Wake 2, Starfield, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, to name a few. He looks forward to seeing what the gaming industry has to offer as it continues to grow, and how it will evolve as it becomes an increasingly prominent source of entertainment for consumers. Whatever happens, you can bet that he will be writing about it.
Favorite Console
Though he primarily plays on PlayStation, he can't deny that the Xbox Series X/S simply does things better. Its UI is more intuitive, and its Quick Resume feature works like magic.
Favorite Games
He'll try anything, but his top three games are Metal Gear Solid V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and The Last of Us Part 2. Alan Wake 2 also deserves a mention.
Industry Focus
He is happiest when he is writing reviews and features. He's always got a lot to write!
