Russ Boswell has been playing games ever since he was old enough to hold a controller. He started his love for gaming with the NES and Super Mario Bros. specifically. Over the years, he has collected numerous consoles but enjoys most modern games on his PC. He has a soft spot for the Final Fantasy franchise, Metroidvanias, Soulslike, RPGs, and First-Person Shooters.

Favorite Games

The Final Fantasy Series, with Final Fantasy 9 being the best of the bunch. Huge Silent Hill and Resident Evil fan, as well as fan of older RPG releases like WIld Arms, Dark Cloud 2, and Grandia. Love the Call of Duty series or practically any competitive shooter.

Favorite Console

The Sega Dreamcast was one of my favorite consoles of all time. I'm sad it was so short-lived and have incredibly fond memories of playing it. I loved the Shenmue series, as well as Power Stone, and of course, Sonic Adventure 2. I'm not sure why that console stuck with me so well but I miss it.

Favorite Movies

Big Horror fan that watches a lot of Horror movies and shorts. The best horror film I've seen recently is probably Hereditary. Love older horror, and horror comedies like Evil Dead and Army of Darkness. A big fan of Fantasy films as well, and Fantasy Anime.
