About Max Borman
Max has loved video games ever since he booted up his friend's N64 and played Mario Kart. He quickly spent all his allowance on any game he could get his hands on, and spent hours playing a dusty PS2. Since then, his passion has taken over his life and he created a YouTube channel under the name Maxmax24 as well as a Tiktok that lets him share his passion. Max pursued Journalism and English at NDSU so that he could spend even more time talking about his favorite hobby, and The Best War Games has given him the ability to do just that.
Favorite Games
While it is hard for Max to pick a favorite game, there are many franchises that he has fallen in love with over the years. Some of his favorites include Assassin's Creed, Sid Meier's Civilization, The Last of Us, and Traveller's Tales' LEGO games. Along with that, he has devoted hundreds of hours to World of Warcraft, and will likely devote hundreds more.
Favorite Console
While Max may have grown up playing on the PS2, his favorite console is definitely the Xbox 360. So many hours were spent playing games like Minecraft, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Halo. That love has since evolved to include the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. On top of those consoles, Max also owns a custom-built PC, almost every PlayStation, every Xbox, practically every Nintendo console, and even a Sega Genesis.
Industry Focus
Max loves pretty much everything about the industry. From the biggest AAA games to the smallest indie title, he tries to play them all. The only genres he really stays away from are JRPGs and Battle Royales, but that is probably because he just hasn't found the right one yet.
