About Jason Wojnar

Jason Wojnar started his gaming life with the original PlayStation and the Commodore 64, despite being way too young to know what the was. He started writing about video games in 2018 and hasn't stopped since.

Outside of gaming, he is a full on melomaniac and cinephile. Particularly, he loves Ukrainian music and film, having moved there in 2017 to study music and learn the Ukrainian language. He recommends learning who Volodymyr Ivasyuk was and watching Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors

Industry Focus

Jason Wojnar is a list and guides writer for The Best War Games. He hopes to make you think deeper about games you already like and understand whether you'll enjoy new releases based on his impressions.

Favorite Games

Jason's favorite series include Metal Gear Solid, Max Payne, Resident Evil, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. His favorite types of games are ones with compelling stories that use gaming mechanics as a storytelling device.

Jason's skills in the Tony Hawk games are almost unparalleled. He can pull off multimillion-point combos without breaking a sweat. This is how he finally earned his parents' respect and approval
